Always great fun
There may not be any other course in Arizona that makes me smile as much as this little beauty does.
Short but challenging
I didn't know what to expect from this course as a first time player, but what I got was a definite test of my mediocre skills. A number of narrow fairways make using a driver a questionable choice on almost any hole. Don't have to be a long hitter, but you will need to be pretty accurate. Very friendly staff.
Short, challenging, well maintained, 9 hole course,.
The course was in excellent condition. It is quite hilly and narrrow with quite a few trees. So although it is not long it is challenging, Good mix of tees to accommodate various skill levels. It is a 9 hole course and although you can book 18 holes they don’t plan for players on a second nine. We played nine holes in good time and played 2 holes of the second nine only to face a shotgun tournament starring on all the holes so we were not able to play the second nine nor get a refund for not being able to play. We were told to go eat lunch in town and come back. We were also told we got a deal booking through GolfNow so we really only paid for nine holes at the walk-in rate.
So if you are looking for a nine hole course this is fine but be careful trying to play the 9 twice.
Great fun
This course is an absolute delight to play. It is a great surprise to find this quality a lay-out and outstanding greens in a back water location like this. I don't know who designed it, but it is so much fun to play. Par 33, but not as easy as the typical "executive" course. At the price we paid I consider this a great bargain for a very interesting and scenic round of golf. We will always include this course in our play plans each time we come to visit our timeshare unit in Sedona.
Short but challenging
Great small course. Many holes are short in yardage but challenging due to the tight tree lines. Very fun, good course conditions.
Greens
The greens are in near perfect shape, especially being summer conditions. I love this course, challenging, target and fun course.
Great fun.
Wonderful find. Fabulous greens, great layout, luscious green landscape in natural canyons. Narrow and challenging for executive length course. We will definitely be back to play this fun and beautiful course again every time we are in this area.
Very interesting and fun technical course
All the up and downs. Narrow fairways make this short course intriguing. Recommend this to any golfer.
Great Course
After reading the reviews I almost did not play this course. It was in great condition, perfect greens and a very fun layout. The setting is beautiful with very challenging holes.
Nice little course
They got me right out as a single at 8 am on a beautiful Sunday. The course was in hood shape. Staff was friendly and helpful. I'll be back.
BEST COURSE!
I cant say enough great things about this course!!
This place is like a little hole in the wall type of course. The course was kept up in immaculate condition and the staff has some of the friendliest faces you'll meet and talk to. And if you're lucky, they'll heckle you on the first hole. We drove down from California just play because we heard the course was open and we didn't want to leave. The course has incredible views, challenging fairways as wells greens. This will be a must from now on for when we come this way!
Good course for the money. Easy to lose balls though.
