Broadlands Golf Club

Had a noon tee time. Played front quick then ran into backup wasn't bad. Great fun and at a good price

The course was in great shape. The pace was slow because of the outing. The greens are ok. WHAT I like is the course has gold tees for us elder players.

Staff person at check-in was very rude. Acted like he could care less if we golfed or not. Course was in great shape and we golfed with a nice couple who were fun to golf with. Ranger asked us to speed up our play on hole 2 and we did, and the rest of the front 9 we waited at every hole! Two-some behind us, hit into us 3 times, once while we were putting,they put a ball on the green! It all left a bad feeling for a beautiful golf course.

I got a grade tee time on a beautiful summer-like day. the course had some winter kill over the last 5 months therefore the fairways were not at its best. however they have a wonderful crew and I'm confident they will be able to get it back to Prime condition. the greens were a little slow perhaps not been cut yet. I was paired with a delightful older couple and we had fun on the course. We played behind a foursome and they were courteous and played quickly. the bunkers were in great shape. I look forward to playing there again. If you haven't played this course it's a must. challenging from the blue tees but fair from the whites.

Nice course layout and there's 4 different tees. One for us over 65 guys which I like also.m

This is a great course to get out and play. Challenging from whites and blues. course layout has a great feel to it. Out of the gate is a "links" style hole and then onto an elevated par 5 with water on #2, which is a great transition and it keeps going when you have an elevated par 3 next. It just keeps going like that and keeps you off balance. If you can keep your head together you can score. Just play smart and you're good to go. Definitely a course you need to play.

Broadlands is on the verge of Country Club in conditions and layout. The often have very reasonable rates if you are willing to shop. The day we played was in the upper 30's and even colder with brisk winds but it was worth the good deal for maybe the last local round of the season.

Dissapointed that greens were not mowed. Ruined the rest of game with the greens like that. I will olay again, but wait till summer when they mow

I've been playing Broadlands for about 30 years. it has a great layout and is always in excellent shape. However, the last few times playing it, I've encountered slower than usual greens. I understand when it's wet, it makes it difficult to keep them fast. however lately it's been very dry with no excuses for slow greens. it's a course that you must play if in the area.

Greens were rather on the slow side and the course was backed up - waiting on every hole.

Singles and threesomes should be aware that they will pair you up with a stranger in your cart. This can lead to an uncomfortable round in some situations.

I've played this course several times and every time it took us over 5 hrs to play our 18 holes. I've seen marshalls on the course in the past, but not this time. One time this year we went well over 5 hours and we were only on the 15th hole when we gave up and quit. I like the course lay out and keep retrying it in hope of it having a better pace of play, but as of last time that hasn't happened yet. For the money their asking to play here the pace of play should be controlled better. Went in after playing 9 holes and no one in side to let us buy a snack before the next 9 too.

Course was in good condition and was fair. Good shots were rewarded and the fescue was penalizing. Greens were nice and putts rolled true.?Overall, not that hard of a course but it was nice and enjoyed the course layout.

We liked it so much we played it again a few days later instead of trying a new course. Great value!
