Rubbish
Since moving to central Florida this is the worst course I have ever played any where in America or anywhere around the world.
The greens were in a terrible condition with holes everywhere.
The fairways were not cut and weeds were abundant and growing wildly.
Definitely will not be playing this course again and I would advise anybody to avoid it like the plague .
Very dissatisfied.
Not worth a penny
The t boxes had no grass some had weeds. Most sand pits had more weeds than sand and the sand that was there was hard on top softer underneath. the fairways had weeds very little if any grass. There is a lot more to say but I'm sure with this it's understood. I way overpaid for this round of golf and would not play this course again not even for free.
why
why would owners let course fall into such disrepair, nice layout, challenging, greens terrible, fairways patchy,
Needed to get in a round to try out new clubs and this was close. Staff there are all very friendly and pleasant. The greens are so bad I didn’t even take the putter out of my bag. Fairways ate terrible, hard to find grassy patch to roll it over to,, almost as bad as are most of the tee blocks.
Course was in poor condition.
The entire course was in terrible condition. We booked with a hot deal price and still over paid. I feel sorry for the golfer who paid full price.
Woah
Those pictures are definitely outdated, most of the greens were sand and some weeds mixed in with a little grass. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone besides beginners or people who do not care.
Thanks Tammy
Course is being sold and the conditions are neglected. I never comment one way or the other but want to thank Tammy in the pro shop for correcting my mistake and doing what few pro shops will do fix a gray area or a customer's mistake.
I made my tee time for 7:45 and with Fl weather changing. It went from sun to poring rain so I canceled the round. Weather then changed again and saw that there will be no refund and no way to reverse my mistake. I also found that Golf makes it almost imposable to discuss an issue personally. . Early next morning all the rain went away and would be sun, Now, I want to play, I paid once and figured I would have to pay again. Called Grenelefe got Tammy, She said "no issue" for the 7.45 and she would get me out without recharging plus she also pushed it to 8 to take the stress off. When I got there Tammy had my ticket printed and actually apologized for my mistake!. This level of customer appreciation is something you only see at Disney.
End thought, I fouled up my day, Golf now was not available, Tammy fixed it without hesitation and with a smile,
Thanks Again,
Mike R
Not worth playing
I have played over 750 courses and this was the worst golf course I have ever played. Not one green could you putt on. Over grown most holes no difference between rough and fairway. Tee boxes a joke half had no grass on them. South course not much better. Can play fast because no one is playing there.
Shocking greens
I’ve played this course on a number of occasions pre covid. My group could not believe that we were allowed to play the course. Even staff told us that no one plays the east course. Why did Golfnow promote the east course and charge for the privilege?
What a shock!!
I was looking forward to play here and recommended to my golfing buddy we go here. Once we got there, I should have turned around. First let me say, I hate blaming the golf course for my play, but when I hit good shots and not get rewarded, then it’s a problem. The greens are un-puttable. If you are further than 1 ft, you might as well just pick your ball up and take a stroke penalty. They were so bad! Course lay-out was fun I must say but needed grass in several fairways and just needed to be cleaned up. We had fun, but I think this will be my last round of golf here.
Think twice
This course used to be one of my group's favorite. Not now. The greens are in terrible condition and the fairways aren't far behind. Very disappointing to see the neglect taking place. We were fortunate to have been able to book at a reduced rate through GolfNow ($26.). If we had booked through the course it would have been $40. I do hope that someone decides to put some money into bringing this course back to an acceptable level.
