Greg
This was the worst shape fairways and greens that we have played since we came to Florida.
There is not one thing good about this course anymore.
east course
The course is an excellent layout and back in the day i bet a really nice top course. It was a shame money had not been spent on the course but, was told the new green keeper is working hard in getting it back in top shape. so, next time i play it hopefully this will be true!
Extremely Poor Course Condition
The condition of the course is sad. This is one of the best layouts in Central Florida and the level of deterioration this course has seen is ridiculous. The fairways are in bad shape and the greens are even worse. Lots of dirt patches, the greens hadn’t been mown in days, they’re bumpy. Honestly I can’t say anything positive. I had last played in January and, at that time, the course experienced some neglect but it was playable for sure. This course isn’t playable. Don’t book here no matter how good the deal is…$10 is overpriced for this goat ranch.
Terrible golf course
This course has bad tees . Most are weeds and dirt. The fairways are 95%weeds and dirt. The greens are all weeds and dirt. The washrooms are filthy . I am surprised that golf now even lists this golf course . The photos are very misleading. The ownership must not give a dam about its investment . The lay out is ok and at one time it was a reasonable golf course . It’s sad when you see such poor management.
Great layout
Great layout but course was in horrible condition.
Horrible
This course was a huge disappointment!! I have played on hundreds of courses from high end private clubs to low end municipal courses. This course is by far the worst condition of any of them bar none.
Entire course is dirt and weeds including tees, fairways and greens.
This course is not worth the Hot deal price we paid. Golf Now should take it off it’s offerings.
It is a shame because the layout is interesting but the condition makes it unplayable and definitely not fun.
Don’t waste your day and money!!!!
So sad
We have been playing these 2 courses about twice a year for 10 years. What a disappointment this year. The staff was very friendly and helpful so no issues with the people. We played first tee time of the morning so pace was great. Not to the bad parts. Many of the tee boxes were bare sand and impossible to keep you feet secure. The fairways were more like you would expect the rough to be. The rough was terrible, even though there was thick patches of fresh cut grass everywhere. The greens were so bad , they should have been tee boxes. I love the layout of both courses, but sadly will not be returning. We played on a hot deal and I still felt that was overpriced based on the conditions.
No fairways only rough
What a shame that a course with such a friendly staff and interesting hole layouts is overshadowed by such horrible playing conditions.
There were no fairways at all. Only rough. Image hitting a perfect drive right down the middle only to find the ball (if you can) settled down at the bottom of 2+ inches of grass.
Every single par 4 or 5 was terrible. Lost 2 balls that were in the fairways because you couldn't see them!
Makes for a frustrating day when hit the fairway. Get 0 yards of roll, have to search a while for your ball only to hack it out like your in the second cut of rough at any other course.
Waist of time and money.
DO NOT PLAY
There is no grass. Just weeds, higher than normal ruff. This coarse should not be on golf now. I hit straight down the middle and lost balls. About 3 lbs. that’s right measure lost balls by the pound, not how many.
Maintain this place or close it
Worst golf course in the country. Greens are are all dirt and weeds. Didn't even bother putting. Fairways are 3" tall weeds. Tee boxes are dirt and and weeds. Bathrooms probably are a health risk. Clubhouse is falling apart and rotting away. The course isn't even playable. Westgate - put some money into this place or just shut it down or sell it. You are a joke and giving yourself a bad name with this place.
Golfnow - stop having this place on your site.
The Feds ought to come in and shut this place down.
