Good, not great
Friendly staff. Quaint, not modern. toilets in men’s locker room we’re not working properly.
Of course had a few beautiful holes, but many that looked just alike.
Greens were recently aerated and not in great condition.
We had a couple of younger guys hit into us inappropriately, as if a warning shot. We played in three hours and 46 minutes.
Overall, I would recommend it when the greens are in better shape

A must course to play if you are in the area , top staff, 1st class course and stunning lunch

Played the course today. Fabulous course lay out. Beautiful scenery and friendly staff. Definitely be back
Good course but in decline
The course design and facilities are as good as any in Waterford however the condition, maintenance and up keep of the course could be a lot better.
Some tee boxes are very overgrown, fairways were long and uncut on some holes but the greens were in good condition.
This was on a Saturday in August and the course was busy so expected it to be better looked after. I have heard from some long time members that the course has gone downhill recently since new ownership has taken over.
This is a shame as the location and course layout is excellent.
Cracking course
Really enjoyed my round today. Staff excellent and got a good welcome. Course was in great condition and we were lucky with the weather. Can't wait to get back and play again.
Great course
Our buggies stopped working twice on the course so I didn't find that worth the money buy the course itself is brilliant
Bang Bang
Lovely course but the clay pigeon shooting noise was very annoying. Walking down the first the banging started and continued for most of the round.
Lower your expectations
We were very disappointed and very sad to see what has become of this once magnificent golf course. The fairways have not had proper treatment for a long time and lack care, the grass is too long for fairways. The bunkers are not in play which we were not told as guests. Paying over 40 per round and no bunkers???Tee boxes and signage need a lick of paint or in some cases need to be removed due to their condition.
To describe WC as tired is not accurate. It now resembles a patch job which is a shame; its patched up and lacking TLC / investment- Nice people working there.
