Great Layout
Always a great and challenging course that played very long and somewhat slow today due to wet conditions and the numerous twosomes our foursome let play though.
Golf now
It was complicated because the course manager was thinking that it was non prepaid. Lost 10 minutes. Golfnow please give the right information
Wonderful golfer's course
The course conditions and maintenance of the course are top notch. The setting is very nice, homes do not come in play. All you have to do is hit the ball straight and with the correct distance. The course is not overly long but straight is very important, Lost Lakes is named for a reason. Greens by my standards (home courses in DC area) are quick and hard., ball marks not a problem.. Staff from the pro shop , starter, and bag cleaning were all very friendly and helpful. If you are hitting it well this is a wonderful and fun course.
Course in Great Shape, Policy Not So Much
Ok, I get it. All courses have to have policies and rules they make and stick to them. It doesn't mean I have to agree with them. Lady Lake is a beautiful course and highly recommended for plush conditions and a challenging layout. My issue is the policy of pairing up singles in one cart. The starter stated this was a course policy and , in my opinion makes zero sense. There were plenty of carts available and no leagues or anything behind us to require a lot of carts. There were locations on the course that required no carts due to wet conditions. Fine, all carts should obey these rules. Playing as a single I was paired up with a pleasant gentleman and joined a twosome for an enjoyable day of conversation & golf. The problem is that we rarely were in the same spot after our shots. While mine stayed near the fairway my partner had some problems spraying the ball from time to time. This took us in different directions AND increased our playing time. As a result the group behind us had to wait numerous times. With 3 carts we would have moved a lot faster and kept up the pace. In the winter when the course is booked solid I can understand this policy. On a day and time when the course was only semi-busy this made no sense. I realize this review will not change anything but it's something we, as players, should be aware of.
Far Out Fantastic
Typically play Palm Beach County courses; change of
residence has brought me north.....played four courses over the last couple months within the area, this is one
I will return and play again.
Thanks for the hospitality.
Great value
Friendly professional staff, challenging course, awesome practice area, nice greens
(medium firm).
A lot of challenges
Out of all the courses in the area at this time of the year, this was the nicest, greenest and hardest but I loved every minute of it and will be back again and again!!
Play it.
Wicked Awesome Course. I can’t wait to play it again. 5 Star from tee to green. Hidden Jewel.
Good golf course
First time playing the course. Good test. Some narrow driving holes from the black tees. #8 got me when I picked the wrong line. Elevated greens make your approach shots needing to be on line. Will play again. Worth the $$$.
