Cider Ridge Golf Club

Had the privilege of playing Cider Ridge on a Monday afternoon with practically no one on the course. The front nine was closed all morning due to maintenance on the greens but I was the first to play them in the afternoon. Due to the greens condition on the front nine I had to give them four stars overall for condition but the back nine was miraculous and made up for it. Would definitely recommend playing here and I'm looking forward to coming back in the fall when the trees start changing colors - I bet it looks amazing with the scenery around the course.

This is an awesome course. I have played this course 2 times now and it gets better every time. The layout of the holes and the blind fairways are amazing. My favorite hole is number 10 what an Amazing view. Can't wait until we can get back there in the fall. Also, the course has a great practice area to warm up. See you guys soon!!!! Makes a big difference when you can warm up before you tee up on the first hole.

This was my first experience here at cider ridge, & This is a true Gem! Great layout, course was forgiving yet challenging for all levels of golfers. Not a burnt spot on the greens & that speaks volumes givin they are rolling bent grass greens in such heat. Perfectly manicured from tee box to green. Will defiantly be back!!

First time to play here; very much worth the drive from Birmingham. Front nine is pretty straightforward, not too penal if you miss the fairway off the tee, except for the thick Bermuda rough. Back nine only more difficult than front due to sloping fairways; so if you don't keep your drive close to the middle of the fairway, then there's a good chance it will roll into the rough, woods, water, etc. The quality of the course makes a good score attainable, so I look forward to visiting again to shave off a few strokes.

This a Great course - off the beaten bath - the back 9 is where you must know the course or bring a lot of replacement balls - Hit the ball on the wrong side slope on the back 9 and your ball is gone...

The course has a built in GPS on the golf carts...

I have played here several times, but this time the GPS controller on my car was out of control - (driving on the cart path and an alert comes up and stops the cart and your stuck sitting there... - I turned off the cart & could restart driving on the golf cart path.... after several issues like this I called the club house... they looked up the cart on their system - turned the program onto a different setting - it somewhat worked a little better - but by the time I finished the front 9 and started to head to the back 9 - however once getting close to the club house - it locked up again!!!!

I got the cart to start again and changed it out at the club house - however even the other cart worked 75% better than the 1st one I had - the 2nd cart still had a very touchy system that would stop...

I don’t know for sure if the made a change / upgrade to the software / system for the GPS program on the golf cart – but I have never had this problem in the past…

A very scenic course that is fun to play. Always in excellent condition. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommended.

Course was in awesome shape considering 4.5 inches of rain over the last few days. Greens were in great shape and rolled true. Great golf course would recommend it to anyone.
