Heritage Ridge Golf Club

Perfect day form round of golf. Pace of play was excellent, and course was in good shape despite having some heavy rains in the Days before.

This course been around for a while, greens ok, fairways good, great value for weekend golfer. Clubhouse dated &needs revamp. Lots of water & bunkers.

Challenging golf course nestled among residential housing off U.S. 1 in Hobe Sound ,Fla.

The Pro Shop staff are very friendly & helpful. Check-in is prompt & courteous.

The drive thru the tunnel to reach the 1st tee-box reveals the long challenging opening hole.

The 2nd Par 3 hole is is a gem - don’t go left!

Every hole is a test - finishing on 18 with a short but completely hidden green - bogey is not unusual here.

Finish your round with a meal and a nice cold beer in the 2nd level restaurant facing the 18th green.

Truly a DAY to REMEMBER!!

The layout is good and the greens are decent sized. The turf is healthy, but not pristine. Greens were a little slow but rolled fine. Course is not long, but not as short as it looks-par 70. Some long, challenging par 3’s. This course is underrated and definitely worth the money and time. Staff very friendly.

Considering all the rain that came down the past 2 days, I found the course too be in decent shape.

The Heritage Ridge Club has been working hard on the course maintenance and it shows. The greens are always fast and smooth. The Club has a nice proshop and a fantastic bar and restaurant. All players should come to Hobe Sound and play this course.

The “Ridge” offers incredible value! Pace of play is great - friendly course.. definitely a “go to” for me!

The staff is extremely nice, and it is cheap to play here. But let’s just leave it at “you get what you pay for”.

Not bad, but not great. Fairways and greens need work for sure. Some of the sand traps were like cement.

Course features a good assortment of long and short holes.

Only issue I had with the course a two all is that it just seemed to easy with how straight in all of the holes were but still a great deal and an awesome time. Staff was amazingly friendly and helpful!

I have played there 2 or 3 times per year for the last couple of years. This is the poorest course conditions that I have seen there. The greens are awesome, but everywhere else is not up to the usual standards we have enjoyed there. Also, each time we played there in the past, the people working there really made us feel like they were glad we were there. This time I believe we were bothering them.

Majority of greens were in great shape. Tee boxes and fairways were so so.

My partner and i played this course today. By the 3rd hole, we had four groups at the hole. There were two foursomes that were holding everyone up. I called to have a ranger come out. Two holes later he was there. He told us that the first foursome was holding things up. Not true. Both groups were at fault. We had to wait a long time at every hole. When we got to the 13th hole, we could see that the first group had three holes open before them and the second foursome,in front of us, had a full hole open in front of them. These groups could care less and it seems, so could the ranger, who never checked back with us. This left a bad taste in our mouths. Need to pick up the pace BADLY! Terrible experience.

Went into clubhouse to check in, young man behind counter no good morning, no how you doing today, told me I had to get shirt with collar, I was wearing a PGA Approved collarless shirt. My friend came in behind me and asked where he could get a cup of coffee, same young man said down the street at Cumberland Farms, could have said sorry we don't have coffee.Then we were told we had to wait for 20 member golfers to tee off, we went to tee box at our start time and nobody was there. Once we got out on course we had a pleasant day, ranger was very nice and polite. course in good shape, nice layout of course. greens were very good, rolled true and fast.

Someone really should enforce pace of play rules.

I will be back, but I am not in a hurry.
