Royal Scot Golf Course - #2

When my buddy and his friend checked in the guys at the front desk had attitudes with them. Then they told us to play the wrong holes(there's 27). We waited over 20 minutes in the snack shop for 2 hot dogs. A lady checked my cart and seen I had brought my own beer so she confiscated it and was threatening to call the cops on me and told me I had to leave the course. All in all it was an awful experience. I honestly can not believe how awful the staff treats their guests. I heard it was bad but experiencing it first hand is quite dumbfounding.

The course is pretty wide open and makes for a relaxing round of golf. It's a great value and the staff was personable.

Really nice course. Greens hard and fast. If you land in the wrong place can have some very tricky putts. Most fairways wide open but gets harder the closer you get to the greens. Had lunch and food is good. Also good selection of beer. Great course for the cost.

Overall course was very nice. Great greens, very underlating which is the courses defense... Has nice generous fairways and not real long. Fun course to play with some beautiful holes.

Warmed up to like the course. 27 holes Facility with Bowling Lanes and Party Rooms. I Played 1-18. Not impressed with first 5 Holes. Thought Holes #3-5 were tight then you go under the highway to cross to the other side of the course then beautiful wide open almost prestine course. Enjoyed the rest of the course,

The course is in a lot better shape than the last time I played it. The only way I play this course is when it can be played at a discount. Without a deal the price is too high for what it is.

Holes 6-14 bring you under a road to the newer part of the course. These holes are very linksy and are in great shape as well as visually appealing. The holes before and after are traditional tree lined Michigan golf holes. Still pretty nice. A potential problem for female golfers as there are absolutley no restroom facilities on the stretch of holes on the other side of the road.

This is a great course . The new 9 feels like an up north course

This is the 2nd time I've played here and I love the course! We really enjoyed the mix of the original course with the new holes. Condition of the course was beautiful, lush, green! For $25 per player, Royal Scot is a steal.
Since players make the turn 2 miles from the pro shop, we wish we had brought some sandwiches.

Course was in good condition and the pace was steady.

Our foursome came down from up north to try Royal Scot as some place different. We enjoyed a very leisurely round at a very good price on this very interesting mix of older, rather traditional holes and a 'middle' nine of more newly designed holes. The round was leisurely because there was neither anyone in front of nor behind us.

Course was a little tougher than I thought it would be. Greens were difficult but challenge.

Royal Scot offers a unique experience. Holes 1-5 are part of their "normal" holes. The fairways and greens are in good shape! Greens roll true. Nothing too out of the ordinary. However, holes 6-14 are on a whole different realm. 6-14 are a little more like links style. Everything from the tee boxes to the rough are in fantastic shape. Their beautiful holes. 15-18 are back to what 1-5 are. Holes 6-14 are worth the price of admission alone...if you get a deal on GolfNow.

Royal Scot was in great shape when I played. Greens were clean; fairway was cut to a playable height and was well manicured. A really enjoyable round on a course that does not break the bank to play.

Course was in very good condition for the weather we have had.

Great booking through Golf Now. Good rate for 9 holes. Tough, windy day, but the course was in good condition and the sun was shining. No complaints.
