Very nice condition
Nice pace for a busy Sunday. Greens and bunkers were in very good shape for an August day. Will come back
Polite and Rude Ranger alert!
The course was flooded and therefor carts were prohibited on an grassy area. Because of that we had to do a lot more walking than anticipated even with a cart.
There was a very polite ranger and a very rude ranger. When we pulled the cart up to the car to unload, the "rude ranger" came over smoking and basically rushed us along. We did not appreciate this unprofessionalism.
The "polite ranger" was very helpful and did not make us feel rushed or unwanted.
Wet slop, flat, boring, slow, old people golf
Do not play this course if it rained the night before...or the week before, wet slop.
2 or 3 interesting holes in the back 9 but otherwise just flat boring slow paste golf.
Foursomes of old people slowing down everyone.... In 4 hours I only played 12 holes.
Life is to short to play such boring courses.
Don't waste a long trip for this one.
If you want to play a good metro park golf course play Kensington instead
Great deal and very challenging
I found a great deal on GolfNow.com for Willow Metropark. We went on the holiday expecting slow play but it was not the case. We moved along pretty well and the course was very challenging. It was well worth the money and we will definitely be going back.
Test your skills
Want to go back and play again without the standing water in the fairway's. The course made me leave the driver in the bag on quite a few holes. Greens were really deceptive.
Course was completely under water and when booking tee time, they did not offer that information until we got out there. Only able to do 2 holes
Course needs to tell customers when it's cart path or 90 degree only.
Course was under water, impossible to golf ... had to quit after two holes, they did issue rain ck
Nice course
Course is in much better condition than last year....and they are always working on it. Staff is great! This is one of my husbands favorite courses.
Glad I paid $17
Ive played 11 rds before this course this year. . The greens were the worst I've played all year. Played with 3 others. 2 of us gotta hot deal of $15+$1.99 for golf now and we were ok. The 2 others paid senior $27 and $35 normal rate. $35 for a rd here is $10-$15 too much weekend or not. Would not play here again unless it was free and I had nothing else to do.
Slow greens, but still good bang for your buck!
The course gets a lot of play like most Metro Park Courses; but the staff made sure people were moving appropriately. One starter even gave us the update on the Red Wing game!
They obviously are not putting and money into maintaining the course
I used to play this course frequently 8-10 years ago. It was a decent track. This is a 15-20 dollar course now. The fairways are like mild rough. the greens are shaggy and unhealthy. They should use the funds they are spending on the numerous rangers to fertilize, seed, cut and roll. What a shame.
course in need of tlc....
Some fairways looked as if they had not been mowed this week. Greens very hard and dry. Rocks and stones in majority of bunkers, which were poorly maintained.
