Sanctuary Lake Golf Course

The ground crew was extremely arrogant. I couldn't play a hole because one of the ground crew workers was watering the green grass and would not turn it off and let me play through. The back nine did not have flags at the holes. I ended up leaving after the 10th hole. I will not return.

If I did not run into those two problems, I would return. It's a nice course. If you like hills, you'll love the course. Just watch out for the ground staff.

We knew it would be slower because it was a holiday, but six hours was just too long. Not sure what, if anything they could have done different, but we AVERAGED 16 minutes from putting out before we teed off on the next hole

Okay I know this is owned I believe the city of Troy but what an absolute dump. 85 degree day, get there and there is was cart to use. We take that and head to the tee. Meet two other foursome, no starter anywhere to be found. First of all, there is pure dead brown spot of dirt through the entire course, fairways/rough etc… absolutely joke. The green were destroyed by snow mold and you can tell there is no effort to fix this. Thus they ran pretty slow to the standards other courses in the area have. The pin positions today were brutal/ border line illegal, some of the green don’t have a flat putt, #1 for example. Moving on, the course layout is a joke, you drive all over all the place to get to tee boxes, sometimes going the route you just went to run into other golfer; #4 I believe and # 16

Just an absolute joke for 50.00 or 48.00, ain’t worth 35.00

Very fun course challenging yet fair nice elevations for southeast Michigan

There were no rangers on the course to enforce pace of play. The eight minute tee times the City Of Troy courses utilize make for a 6 hour round.

Well maintained course, beautiful first hole. Little pricey compared to other courses in the area but overall worth the money. Driving range behind the pro shop was nice. No other course in Troy has a driving range at the course

Cold , Frozen tee boxes, and ice ponds in Fairway.

A bit much for winter golf. Taking advantage of being one of the few open courses in the area. Wont play here again unless the price drops.

Fir November the course was in really good shape. Casey play was good play 18 holes in 3

So I had a tee time this morning at 730. I got there at 725 and waited till about 735. I called the number fot you guys and got nothing. Finally I believe he was your maintenance manager for a hold of the GM and they were able to get our out at about 8am didn’t get a full 18 in due to the time I had but they gave me a voucher which was nice. The course is beautiful also!

Course in need of a lot of attention, potholes and areas under repair in many areas. Golfers do not respect course and have torn it up as bad as anyI have seen, including deliberate destruction.

An oasis in the middle of a city. Troy between big beaver and M 59 is one of the most densely populated business areas in all of Michigan. Yep I pulled into the course it was completely different feel! Maroon carts clean and well cared for pro shop, restaurant and grounds. A link style course with Rollinghills lots of character and well groomed layout with a mix of traps water and Heather. At one point we set up so high we could see the entire city , while the pace of play was crisp. Fairways were soft well groomed and a good shot took a beaver pelt all the greens no challenging are also well-kept but none of the city blights the other city courses have. I will be going back hope to see you there.

This course has went up 25% in cost this year. Its quite frustrating considering they haven't upgraded anything.

Simply taking advantage of the covid golf boom.

Pace of play sucks.

Smells awful

Won't be back.
