Coyote Preserve Golf Club

About
Coyote Preserve Golf Club in Fenton is one of the only courses in the area designed by Arnold Palmer. The course has a hilly terrain that provides plenty of elevation changes a well as stunning views. Tumbling across deep ravines and native wetlands, the layout requires many carries over dramatic depressions and water hazards but many are seemingly intimidating but actually quite reasonable. Massive, finely sculpted bunkers strategically frame the greensides of many holes. While some of them are manageable, others are deep and sod-faced. The tricky hazards in conjunction with the dramatic elevations demand both accuracy and creative shot-making. The golf course has a memorable finish with a par-5, risk-reward hole. There is ample room off the tee on this downhill, dogleg left hole and it presents a few different options for the second shot. With some thought, scoring par is definitely a possibility.

Beautiful course
Course was great for being late April. Green and fairways were in great shape and even the bunkers were soft. Can’t wait to play here late June time. Course had a great layout and definitely is a challenge.
Always a challenge.
Great course, tough layout and a challenge for all levels.
early golf
I booked thru golf now and paid $35.99 plus booking fee making it about $41.00 dollars. The man behind the counter told me to call the pro shop and book thru them at $35.00. He was appalled we paid $5.00 dollars too much this early in the year (April 14).
Nice course, friendly staff, overall really nice day. After 2hrs on the front, we had a 3hr back nine, at least 10 mins wait on every tee.
From blue tees ~6500yds with many forced carries and little or no bail out so it seemed longer. Overall worthy of 4 stars
Fall Conditions
Lots of leaves everywhere. Way more than any other course I've played recently. Greens had not been cut for a long time. Maybe a 5 or 6 on stimp. Cups were terrible too. But hey it's fall golf in Michigan. But worse out of all that we have played in October and November.
What a place
I’ve been around this course for a long time and I believe it is an amazing course not only because of its beauty and scenery, but because of its quality and its challenging design
Great Hidden Gem
I get the opportunity to play a lot of different courses because of travel. This is one of those courses I will go back to when I am on that side of the state! It’s a fun course that challenges you! The conditions from tee box to green were top notch considering the price we paid and their weekend price!
Only downfall is those that are members who felt like they owned the course and slowed the pace down. I was play 2 man scramble with 3 others from work and we got hung up on every shot waiting for the group in front and without them letting us play through which there were way to many chances to allow us to.
However overall great course, will be back, great staff and highly recommend!
