About
Although the climate gives away the location, the Golf Club of Dublin is a more authentic interpretation of the traditional links of its Irish namesake than most other replicas you'll find. The flat terrain, which was formerly a cornfield, was transformed into an enjoyable linksland layout covered with tall, sweeping heather and hundreds of yards of hand-stacked stone walls. The gently rolling fairways are generous and the classic, square-shaped greens are enormous and fast. In keeping with a true links golf course, there are nearly 80 steep, sod-walled bunkers waiting treacherously by the fairways and greensides to swallow up errant shots. Depending on the sun, the shadows cast over the bunkers can play tricks on your eyes, making them appear deceptively deeper or shallower. Water hazards also come into play on a few holes at the Golf Club of Dublin.

One of the best public courses I have ever played!
What a gem. Firm fast and true greens.

Playing conditions.
Clubhouse told GOLFNOW course was open and playable after 12 hours of rain, 28deg outside and snow flurries. Kept my $105 prepaid greens fee. They don't consider playing conditions/ only if the course was open. Who enjoys playing in the snow? GOLFNOW and CCofD are jokes.

Greens
The greens was so full of holes and looked like a Swiss cheese

Wide open and fair
Love playing GCofD. Fairways are wide and were in good shape for mid-March. Greens rolled great. Pro shop staff always cordial, and it's great having a starter. Only complaint is the perpetual one, usually $10 to $20 more than should be for some reason, and usually a lot higher than its adopted sister courses.

If you golf regularly in central Ohio this course has to be in your rotation
Fun layout that challenges at times but will reward good play. Just be wary of the huge greens. If you’re too far away from the hole 3 putts will happen. Especially on a day like today with recent aeration. Pace was fast. I was the first player out and played in 2 hours 50 minutes. Would have been faster if not for cart path only rules in effect. Would enthusiastically recommend this course, though it’s best when played on a warm dry day where you’ll get proper carry and roll.
