About
Although the climate gives away the location, the Golf Club of Dublin is a more authentic interpretation of the traditional links of its Irish namesake than most other replicas you'll find. The flat terrain, which was formerly a cornfield, was transformed into an enjoyable linksland layout covered with tall, sweeping heather and hundreds of yards of hand-stacked stone walls. The gently rolling fairways are generous and the classic, square-shaped greens are enormous and fast. In keeping with a true links golf course, there are nearly 80 steep, sod-walled bunkers waiting treacherously by the fairways and greensides to swallow up errant shots. Depending on the sun, the shadows cast over the bunkers can play tricks on your eyes, making them appear deceptively deeper or shallower. Water hazards also come into play on a few holes at the Golf Club of Dublin.

Great course, Great greens!
I have played at the Golf Club of Dublin many times, and I would argue that it is now in the best condition. Greens were quick but playable, receptive. The entire course looks beautiful, and the wispy tall grasses around the perimeters really give it a Scottish look and feel. Had a blast, and will be back soon.

My best so far
Government course was my 1st under 100 round in the past 4 years. I had a great time played by myself and me hit by myself and met a couple of new friends. The fairways are wide and the greens are fast made for an excellent challenge for any golfer. I definitely play here again.

Fun course, enjoyable round
Played GC of Dublin several years ago and remembered very little. Course was in very nice shape, greens and fairways to excellent condition. Course was very busy so pace of play was a bit slow, probably a touch over 4 1/2 hours. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Look forward to returning next time I'm in Columbus.
