About
Although the climate gives away the location, the Golf Club of Dublin is a more authentic interpretation of the traditional links of its Irish namesake than most other replicas you'll find. The flat terrain, which was formerly a cornfield, was transformed into an enjoyable linksland layout covered with tall, sweeping heather and hundreds of yards of hand-stacked stone walls. The gently rolling fairways are generous and the classic, square-shaped greens are enormous and fast. In keeping with a true links golf course, there are nearly 80 steep, sod-walled bunkers waiting treacherously by the fairways and greensides to swallow up errant shots. Depending on the sun, the shadows cast over the bunkers can play tricks on your eyes, making them appear deceptively deeper or shallower. Water hazards also come into play on a few holes at the Golf Club of Dublin.

Fun course, enjoyable round
Played GC of Dublin several years ago and remembered very little. Course was in very nice shape, greens and fairways to excellent condition. Course was very busy so pace of play was a bit slow, probably a touch over 4 1/2 hours. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Look forward to returning next time I'm in Columbus.

Wonderful course
We first time playing this course and our expectations were exceeded. The course was in absolute pristine condition. Greens were smooth and fast. The layout is outstanding and rewards creativity. I will make a point to come back here.

Beautiful May Day
The course was in great shape. Wind was a challenge today on some of the longer holes. Greens have received a lot of water the past week and we’re uncommonly slower than expected. Overall fun day and will be back again this summer

Not up to expectations
This course has always been in excellent shape, but this time it was a let down. Grass clippings in rows in the fairways and bunkers really needing attention. These things are not what you expect from a course at this price level and in the past, it hasn’t been this way. To make things worse, the pins were not set according to the position that the staff gave us. In fact they weren’t set to any consistent position as we struggled to try and figure it out. Never could. Consequently, the cart gps system was not accurate in the distance to pins. So, you pay a premium for a course with gps carts and they end up being inaccurate. The staff acknowledged it but just kind of laughed it off when we brought it to their attention. All things considered, one might conclude that current club management is poor and is sending a message of “oh well…that’s just the way it is” to customers. What a shame.

Pace of play was horrendous!
Paid $70 to play 18 holes. Took 3 Hours and 15 minutes to play 10 holes! Group of 5 in front of us was by far the slowest I have ever played behind. They took 20 minutes on one hole looking for a ball. That is not an exaggeration. That happened at least 3 more times on the front 9. We complained to the club house but nothing happened. Never saw a ranger or any staff the entire time. This is my home course and I hate that I have to bad mouth them because the people that work there are great people. I will never pay that kind of money again to play what would have been a 6+ hour round.

Playing conditions.
Clubhouse told GOLFNOW course was open and playable after 12 hours of rain, 28deg outside and snow flurries. Kept my $105 prepaid greens fee. They don't consider playing conditions/ only if the course was open. Who enjoys playing in the snow? GOLFNOW and CCofD are jokes.

Wide open and fair
Love playing GCofD. Fairways are wide and were in good shape for mid-March. Greens rolled great. Pro shop staff always cordial, and it's great having a starter. Only complaint is the perpetual one, usually $10 to $20 more than should be for some reason, and usually a lot higher than its adopted sister courses.
