El Diablo Golf & Country Club

It was a nice course but its closing down. Closed down 06/29/2014

Great course! Very challenging and in very good condition. Club house was destroyed in a fire in march so no food and only normal beverages. Most fairways were pretty narrow but playable. Greens were in amazing shape. Back 9 is beautiful.

It was our first time playing in this course. Very beautiful, challenging, and an exciting course to play. Great for the money !!! Definitely, we will be back !!!

Clubhouse under construction, driving range closed, greens on front 9 a mess, and a couple fairways also.

The course is In pretty fair condition but the modular trailer that housed the pro shop and lounge caught on fire and is closed . So don't plan on grabbing a sandwich or a beer at the turn !

This is a nice layout, but several of the greens were on poor condition. Fairways were so-so. Little grass in the rough. The clubhouse was not open. Temporary clubhouse was in the maintenance facility. It appeared to me that they were trying to revive the course by working on the fairways and greens. I would not recommend the course until the clubhouse is reopened and the greens are all brought back to good playing conditions. I played here several years ago and the course was in much better shape and more enjoyable to play.

I have never met a nicer staff. Tee boxes and some fairways were bare, but greens in great shape, firm and fast. Bring gps or laser as I found yardage off. Clubhouse caught fire recently, but they have temp with limited product. This is a must play course

Very scenic with shade on near the tee boxes. Played early in the day and didn't wait at any time. Greens and fairways were in great shape.

Loved the course. It is very challenging but absolutely beautiful in its layout and care. I really want to play again and will do so in the near future.

The devil is in the course. El Diablo is just that --- challenging, with lots of hazards. If you play, just remember you are not a pro.

Overall a very good course conditions were very good greens were in good condition

El Diablo is a welcomed change for many who don't feel that they are getting enough golf exercise. This course is full of hills, gulleys and sand traps. The layout is beautiful. Where this course lacks is in finesse. There are barren spots, 3 or so greens needed better growth as well as a few rough tee boxes. For the price though, it is still a bargain for a course of this design. Oh, and the carts and cart path could use some serious work. But I did see some locations in the path were being addressed.

This was the worst round of golf I have played since I moved to Florida. It took my threesome 5 3/4 hours to play 18 holes. The two groups in front of us must have thought they were on the tour. It took >3 hours to play the front 9. And not once did we ever see a ranger to complain to, not once did anyone come and tell them to pick up the pace. The clubhouse had a fire, so you have NO amenities, the staff we did see, were friendly, and the starter was very helpful. The overall course is beautiful, but hard to enjoy when your waiting after EVERY shot. The fairways and greens are in good to excellent shape, with the grass around the greens being a little long, but manageable. This course, in my opinion is not worth the money they are asking you to play. If you wanna waste a whole day, and never get into your golf rhythm, then by all means play here. But, come repaired, plenty of balls, snacks, and water.

The course was in great shape. the greens were big and challenging and in great condition. i found the course to be difficult but fun. will definitely go back soon.

This course has an outstanding land site. Long journeys from green to tee. Scenic with very few homes. Could be a wonderful course but lack of money makes keeping it in top shape difficult. Tight fairways. Fire had clubhouse/restaurant closed.

We arrived to find the club house smoldering and a fire engine parked in the lot. The staff was great doing their best to get us off on time in spite of the problems. The course is still a fun challenge but don't expect a cold beer at the end of your round for a while.

Course was in pretty good shape, will be in great shape by April Good sand traps with actual sand in them. Greens we about 1 week away from g=being great
