Juliette Falls
About
When Juliette Falls Golf Course first opened in 2008, Golf Digest ranked it is one of the top five best new courses in the country. In a state that boasts more than 2,000 courses, Juliette Falls stands out as one of Florida's finest. Unlike the many flat courses that can be found in central Florida, this layout tumbles across rolling hills and slopes. Plenty of water and waste areas come into play but the wide-open fairways balance the course's challenges. The quality of both the design and the conditions of the golf course have helped it hang onto its ranking in the top 10 golf courses in Florida. Juliette Falls G.C. is also a great place to get some practice in. The 10-acre practice facility includes chipping and pitching greens, a practice bunker, a large undulating putting green, and a natural grass double-tee range.

Disturbing
Have played this course numerous times and always enjoyed the experience. On Sunday Nov 30 my opinion changed.
Checkin staff looked like they didnt want to be there. After checkin looked for starter. He said we were paired with another twosome. I knew the tee shheet was light and asked if we could go as a twosome. The starter said as long as i made it worthwhile for him as he immediately pulled out a tip basket. One of the most classless acts i have ever witnessed.
Played behind a fivesome on back nine!
Will never go back!!
Best public course in Florida
What’s not to like?
I’m just scared it will get too popular and they will jack the prices. If this course was near Tampa or Orlando it would be triple the price easily. Probably be private and none of us could play.
We love you Juliette Falls! Don’t ever change a thing
One of Best Courses in Central Florida
Course was in great condition with a 4 hr, 10 min pace of play. Greens were true, tee boxes and fairways were in very good condition. Challenging course, especially from the blue tees. Par 3s play long. Highly recommend.
Always Fantastic
Well worth the drive from Tampa to play. Have played and Juliette Falls several times and it always has been in fabulous shape. The occasional special rates make it a great value. Fairways and greens are immaculate. Great layout and some beautiful holes. The team that works there is always so friendly and welcoming. They really make you feel appreciated. Make sure to treat yourself to a burger after the round. They are superb!
Premier Course in Central Florida
I at first was going to give it 4 stars because the greens were cut/punched 3 weeks ago and they weren't back to great yet. But thinking it through, that's not on Juliette Falls. The rest of the course (fairways, tee boxes) were really good. The layout is fantastic with every hole being beautiful. And a very fair price as well. Highly recommend.
A MUST PLAY COURSE CHECKED OFF MY BUCKET LIST
I drove up to Juliette Falls Golf Course from Tampa Bay. It's a bit of a hike (100 miles) but well worth it to play this course I've been hearing about for the past 10 years. Although the general lay of the land in this part of Florida is mostly flat that is not the case on Juliette Falls. I don't know the elevation numbers for this course but we were continually presented with rolling hills, some seemingly dramatic drops and one fine course. The fairways are wide & well kept allowing for less than straight drives. Then the course tightens up for approach shots to greens that are guarded by numerous bunkers or precariously close lakes. Even though there has been a lack of rain over much of Florida this past winter & spring, the greens were perfect... fast but not ridiculous. Some might feel the price is a little high but you will NOT be disappointed with your golfing experience. One of the best courses I have played in a long time
Lefty
What a treat to play this course!!! We live in the Villages Fl where there are over 800 hundred holes of golf you can play but nothing in the Villages can compare to Juliette Falls if you have a chance to play this course do it you will not be disappointed!!!!
Course Great
Course was great from getting there to finish.
The only thing i can complain about is the price to play.
Juliette Falls
The fairways were perfect, and the greens were a little hard but fast, just the way I like them. When I called I wish the front desk had told me that if I had waited until 2:00p.m. The rate would have been $100.00 instead of the $130.00 price for the 1:51p.m. Tee time.
The range was in great condition, and
All the employees were great, cart guys, front desk, bartender, and cart girl. Great Job to all.
Great condition great layout
Most courses in the area don't know how to grow grass. Juliette Falls was in excellent condition. The greens were smooth and consistent.
I was expecting a more difficult track but the course gives you plenty of room to drive the ball. Overall a really fun course to play.
Worth the drive
Perfect day of golf. I might not have had my best scoring round but did not lose a single ball. It was well worth the two hour drive from Tampa. The pace was phenominal for a Saturday in season. The staff was cordial and the starter was informative, lighthearted and made me feel welcome. As a women golfer I don't get to say that phrase often.
Afterwards had an enjoyable cocktail and a bite in the bar. Will definitely be back to these fairways again.
Great course but poor on course management
The course was in excellent condition. We played on a Friday at 11 am. A skins game was supposed to start at 12:30 pm. However we only played 15 holes and had to leave because of slow play. On cart navigation kept telling us we were 45-50 minutes behind time but no one was there to speed up play. On the back nine we had four groups on most holes. One group on the green, one in the fairway and two groups waiting on the tee. Unbelievable and incredibly frustrating. With the high green fees it should have been handled better. Good burgers though- thanks Taylor!
Outstanding Course
My friends and I make it a point to play this course 3 or 4 times a year. The course is a true gem, well maintained and challenging. The staff is very friendly and helpful. In mine and my golfing friends opinion Juliette Falls is the best course in the area and a must play.
Outstanding Course
Juliette Falls is a gem in Central Florida. The greens are as good, or better, than any other course in Florida, or anywhere else for that matter. They are very fast and true and provide a challenge on every hole.
That said, the course is a fair test for golfers. It will be too difficult for new golfers but even average golfers can enjoy a round on this course.
The practice areas are also very good with a grass range, large practice green, chipping area, and practice bunker.
The staff is very friendly and the burgers in the lounge are delicious.
Overall, an excellent course and great value for the money even though it is a little out of the way in Dunnellon. It’s worth the drive!
Fantastic golf course in central Florida
One of best courses in Florida. Worth every dime (Just $90) to drive to Juliette Falls. Greens fast and true, t-boxes full grass, fairways plush. Challenging course so bring your A game
Well worth the drive !
We - 4 visitors from Scotland - played Juliette Falls for the first time during our ten day Buddies trip. Absolutely fantastic golf course and well worth the drive up from our base in the Orlando area. The Course layout , conditions and the pace of play were all as we would have hoped. Capped off by a burger and a beer in the funky bar area. What’s not to like ? We will return..,,
Great Day to Golf
Every Time come here it is all round great.
The only draw back is the price. Wouldn't of played here if had to pay full amount. Had a rain check. Got to find out way to pick one day a week to make it afforable for average people. I know this course is semi private.
Played this course Oct/Nov greens hold. The times after Dec. greens are good shape, but very hard and can't hold ball on them. Best Course in Area.
One of best public courses in Florida
Played yesterday from the blue tees. Course was in excellent shape. Greens very fast, fairways and t-boxes nice. With all the bad weather from the hurricanes, I was surprised that the course was not wet. Staff friendly in clubhouse plus the 2 cart girls. Highly reccomend.
Beauty is only skin deep.
Haven't played the course in at least a year. The course is very challenging with a slope rating from the back tees of 147. That means a scratch golfer should shoot 3 over on this course. It is a gorgeous course with challenging holes lots of sloped bunkers and tough pins with tricky greens . They had a special today for 54 bucks and I figured since aeration was done in early August for once the greens would be in great shape .I was wrong- there were still aeration cuts and minimal grass on the greens. Its hard to fathom with all the rain we have had. The Fairways as well have been aerated and the grass was not cut much ,grabbing the ball and stopping much roll.
In the summer the course isn't really playable because of the deep aerations cut into the greens at regular intervals. This is a recurring theme at this golf course. and it will not get better until they get a greenskeeper that is capable of maintaining the greens properly which may have to entail an entire redo.
The staff as always is great there. But if you are looking for greens that roll true you will be disappointed.
