Rangers are a distraction.
Pro shop and rest rooms are small and need a refresh, especially during a pandemic. This layout is excellent for practicing the short game but bring extra balls because it’s easy to lose a few. My gripe is with the rangers. I’ve had them distract me often. Like parking his cart in front of a tee box while he fishes balls out of the pond. Or driving up and asking to see my receipt as though I sneaked on without paying. It’s insulting and ignorant. The staff needs to be retrained or replaced especially at the prices they get in season.
Rangers are a distraction to play.
Pro shop is small especially during a pandemic. Rest rooms are small, old and outdated. The course is ok for practice rounds and pretty demanding with small greens and lots of ponds and growth that can make golfballs vanish. My biggest complaint are the rangers. They drive around and get in the way. Last week one had his cart parked in front of a tee box while fishing balls from the pond. Another time I had one interrupt my round by wanting to see my receipt. Guess, he thought I sneaked on without paying. With 13 million people in US having gotten COVID-19 I’d prefer they stay away from the patrons. All in all it’s overpriced and needs a refresh and a ranger training program.
Jupiter Dunes
Par 3 Course. All holes relatively short, average conditions, Allows walking. No real distinctive features. Easy to complete in under 2 hours.
Amazing location but awful staff and pricey
Old and incredibly grumpy staff at this location ruin the experience. Thy are incredibly rude and hard to deal with. They also very clearly have a problem with anyone who is under 30. Ownership even banned young children from playing on the course, which is disappointing considering a Par 3 course if perfect for children. It's also disappointing that the staff /ownership has a "get off my lawn" approach rather than trying to grow the game amongst the younger generation.
The course is also pricey. At the end of the day it's a very small par 3 course. Sure, it's in a good location and the course is well-kept, but I can't get behind them charging so much money for such a small course. They offer a "discounted" rate a few hour before close, but will be sure to chase you off the course well before sunset and before you can even play a full 18.
You also cannot chip in the area near the putting green where you used to be able to. Not a big deal but just another questionable decision by ownership.
This course challenges your short game
Varied lengths and obstacles make for a challenging short game course. Water, sand, and mounds.
Fun little course
The greens were just sanded so I would have held off playing there if I had known. Staff is very friendly.
Taming the Little Monster
Challenging par 3 if your second shots are not spot on! Course is in excellent condition and some greens can be challenging. Wind can also be a factor. Overall great round that you can enjoy in a couple of hours.
