Not Worth Trip
Course is a public course at a good price. And they can’t be blamed for the damp conditions with all the rain over the past month but they have a serious drainage issue.
But the condition of the greens with large intrusions of other grasses is awful. The constant driving of carts right up to edge of greens wore out aprons. Bunkers have no sand - possibly because of upcoming renovation discussed in other reviews. Driving range was embarrassing and putting green had not been mowed in at least 3 days.
There are 5 courses nearby in great condition and under $55.
Course was wet
In fairness the amount of rain caused this review. The course was very wet, cart paths only . The greens need work.
Great
What a nice course , played it last week and it was quite wet , but one week later it was pretty dried out. Gonna be a sad day when they close for. a 9 month 8 million dollar make over. But should be even better at that point. Will have try and get a few more rounds in before January!
st John's golf course
well worth the money but dont lose any head covers you wont get them back...
Fair test of golf
Coarse was above average. If I had played better. I may have had rave reviews. Staff was great.
Unable to play
Course called me to inform it was walking conditions only due to excessive rainfall. This would normally have been fine except on in our foursome has mobility issues and we had to cancel. Golf Now failed to refund my booking fee for this so I won’t be using them any longer.
Not the best .
Course has very poor water runoff. People were making mud bogs everywhere. Limited cart paths. Need ropes to keep it in order. Also standing water smells very bad. (Brown water). Also beware if booking online for a single as they will pair you, which is ok, but then they will charge you $10 extra to have your own cart. 25000 new covid cases a day. Come on folks!
Great track for the $
Take the amount of rain we have had out of the equation. This track is in good shape. Greens putt true.
St john golf course
Course was in good condition but water is not draining consequently we were forced to walk....but it wasnt a bad walk.
Played 7/31/21
Greens are in great shape and due to no rain in two days the conditions are great.
Wow!
I’d love to give a bad review, just to keep people away and have this place to myself. But I can’t. It’s too good. I’ve held off playing here for a while. I was dumb. This place is amazing!! Had the best day. Staff were super nice. Other players were courteous. Course was in great shape, much better than other local courses. Overall this was amazing. I will definitely play here again soon.
Storms
Did not get to play rain, lightning , thunderstorms kept stopping play!
Nice course, hurried pace
