About
NorthStar Golf Club measures out to a whopping 7,351 yards, which makes it one the longest golf courses in Ohio. The layout covers over 350 acres of woodlands interspersed with 21 ponds and three rambling creeks. Water is definitely a prominent presence on the course but there are also 41 sand bunkers strategically placed throughout. Being such a lengthy golf course, long hitters will have a chance to shine but sharp short game skills and accuracy are also vital to getting a good score. The versatile NorthStar layout is made even more playable with five different sets of tees that accommodate golfers of all skill levels. The semi-private course is open to guests everyday and the club offers all the extra amenities of a private club including an expansive heated pool and two tennis courts.

fairways and greens excellent
if you hit fairways and greens , you will score well. rough a little to high for my liking. pace of play very good if you stay out of rough.
some of the best greens around
I was able to play on a hot deal thru golf now $26 riding. I dont get paid to play so in my opinion this course offers many advantages over others for the same price point. 1. Pace of play is always reasonable because its hardly ever packed and there are pace clocks all aver the course 2. The practice facility offers a grass range, bunker and chipping area and a practice green that is kept tru to the couse greens. 3. Private feel. No houses. wide open spaces. 4.The course over all is architecturally beautiful and challenging with greens that right now are rolling as true and fast as ive ever seen. if you putt the line it will stay there.
Superb greens
Course was in excellent condition for spring. Greens were fast and rolled true. The front 9 is just average...the holes just don't stand out. However, the back 9 has some character! This is a very challenging course at 7000 yards! I would definitely play here again.

Great shape for this time of year
This course is the longest course I have played from the Blue tees. Front 9 has largest fairways I have ever seen. However the greens are not as forgiving. The front 9 is a second shot course. The back 9 is more normal size fairways and is also challenging and a lot of fun. Bunkers, tee boxes, greens, and fairways were all in great shape.
One of the best values in golf in Central Ohio. Absolutely worth the premium.
Great layout and in super shape for this time of year. This is one of my favorite public courses in all of central ohio. Front and back nine are so different...wide open links on the front and wooded on the back. The par 5s are all super and will test your risk/reward nerve. A little more expensive than others but worth every penny and pace of play is always awesome.
Always a good one
Course was in the condition that you would expect for November in Ohio. Not great like usual but still playable.
Overpriced to me unless you find a good deal on Golfnow.

Greens in great shape and very fast. Course is more difficult than it looks.
Pristine condition
This course is in phenomenal condition; especially for this time of year! The Greens are lighting fast! Might be the fastest rolling greens in Columbus. The fairways are in great condition and Northstar actually takes care of their bunkers. All the fairway and green side bunkers are raked with plenty of fresh sand instead of the hard dirt most courses have in their bunkers.

Even with the wind, great experience!
The course is a traditional links-style course, so the elements come into play on this challenging, but incredibly fun, course. With gusts close to 50 MPH, though, there were a few holes (7, 8 and 9, to be exact), that were more fun than the rest. Very well maintained from tee to green, although the greens we a lot harder than we expected, and didn't hold the ball well, except when bringing it in high.
