Jasper Hills Golf Club
About
A TRUE REBIRTH, A BRAND NEW BEGINNING. Originally opened in 2000 as “Sebastian Hills”, the 18 hole course was unique with its creative layout and concrete cart paths and brought in many, many golfers over the nearly two decades that it was open. The course closed permanently after the 2017 season. After numerous attempts to sell, the course overgrew and seemed completely hopeless to return as the years ticked by. But then in 2021, a new hope was sparked. Local residents decided to take a chance on this 18 hole dream. Their love for the beauty of the land the course sits on inspired them to bring it back to life. It truly was a mountain of an undertaking, but they were up for the challenge. The course has new owners, new vision, new business plan, new everything but the beautiful piece of property the course sits on. The course remains the same layout but nearly every other aspect has been been given new attention and love.

Excellent course
One of my favorite courses. For as early as it is in the season the course is in fantastic condition and the greens roll fast and true. If you’ve never eaten at their restaurant you are truly missing out!!
Great staff and great course
For December I was really impressed and since they’ve re opened from years ago they show that they value the quality experience people get when playing golf or dining at their great restaurant.
Jasper Hills
This a great course which is beautiful, challenging, well maintained and run by a great staff! I play this course whenever I am in the area!
On a side note, I booked my tee time through GOLFNOW and it cost $8 more per person than if I had booked it by calling the course directly, and there was also a $5 service charge. I will never use GOLFNOW again!
Resort Quality Golf
I've traveled around the country the past couple of years and played, photographed and reviewed more than 70 courses, from Orlando to Palm Springs.
Jasper Hills is among the best overall golf experiences in the Miami Valley.
From the super friendly staff who makes you feel appreciated versus tolerated, to the course conditions and finally the best restaurant accommodations of any course I have been to, Jasper Hills is more than a hidden gem, it's a destination course. There's good reason its been twice voted "Dayton's Best" in 23 and 24.
Never again
Jasper Hills has the carts that you basically can't drive on the fairway. So even though you pay to rent a cart you can't drive to alot of your fairway shots. Couple in front of us drove cart to close to the green. It got locked up so we had to wait for someone to come out and move the cart. Will not play this course again.
Hidden Jewel
You folks have revamped my favorite course into a beautiful amazing golf experience!! Thanks for all your hard work now I just need a few of those hidden lost balls back!! 😂😂😂
Nice course overall
Course was overall in good shape still. Tee boxes in general were a mess, and many of the men's tees were back at the tips due to the tee boxes being aerated. Food and drink prices are a bit ridiculous, $5 for a small hot dog and $3 for a domestic 12oz beer is a bit steep...to the point where I just won't buy it when I'm there.
Great course
Everything great except carts shut off even when your not in designated no cart areas. VERY ANNOYING
Disappointed
The reviews suggested this was an interesting track and in good shape! Neither were true; holes were basically straight and the course is in rough shape! Greens (and tee boxes) were like concrete! In fact, I tweaked my back trying to get tees I the ground! I don't know who is writing these earlier reviews but .....
Don't waste your money on this track!!
Dayton's Best!
It’s hard to keep coming up with new superlatives to convey what a great overall golf experience Jasper Hills is, but every time I travel the hour plus, from my home in Monroe to play a round, I find new reasons to fall in love with this course and the people who run it.
I booked a round of 18 with a cart for $31 on Golf Now and headed out on a Saturday for a 1:48 tee time.
The pro shop had just gotten in some new gear and whoever handles their marketing had the foresight to design stickers, which are a popular collectible, among destination courses around the country.
While warming up on the range, the starter Andy, came over twice to let me know that I could get off to an early start if I wanted to, as there was a window open.
They continue to do an amazing job with course conditions, despite the extremely dry conditions this Summer. The only thing that would help with the stress and dry spots as well as reducing water costs, would be regular application of APSA80. (Yes, of course I sell it, through my Ag business)
Many of the bunkers have been upgraded to resort quality sand and are now as playable as many higher end courses.
I eventually caught up to a threesome and joined in to keep up the pace of play. I always meet great people out at Jasper.
After the initial 18, I grabbed a few additional holes on the back 9 and ran into Mr. Elliot and his Wife, (Steve…I think) who has built a few of the homes that surround Jasper. He was super nice, and it was great running into them, connecting and talking about the Jasper story.
After finishing up with golf and photos, I couldn’t get out of there without visiting the single best golf course restaurant of any of the 30+ courses that I’ve played this year.
When I travel, I usually only eat at “Diners Drive Ins and Dives” stops from the Food Network.
I’ve visited 178 of those stops from Guy’s TV show and I can honestly say that Jasper's kitchen’s pizzas are worthy of being featured on that show. The “I Got Your Honey” pizza is among the best I’ve ever eaten.
Great Course Only 1 Complaint
This course has turned into an incredible course. They have done an awesome job bringing this course around in the last few years. The only complaint would be all the bells, buzzing and warnings that come from the golf cart GPS devices. Extremely distracting and frustrating. I’ve played there many times and have had my cart “locked down” while driving on the cart path. Everyone I have played with have echoed the same complaints. I would recommend the staff set the carts up like many other courses that give a you a visual warning on the display screen without all the audible distractions. Just a friendly request!
Beautiful course
Alot of great work has been done to this course! Very enjoyable and peaceful place to play golf!
