About
Located just a few miles south of Oxford, Indian Ridge Golf Club sprawls across rolling countryside sprinkled with walnut and cedar trees. It's the only course around for miles, making it the default favorite for local golfers but it's also popular for the affordable rates. The location provides peaceful seclusion as well as idyllic scenery. The golf course has a classic design with plenty of variety, giving it appeal for players of all skill levels. Water hazards and bunkers come into play throughout the course, often making for difficult approaches. Indian Ridge Golf Club stretches to just over 7,000 yards from the back tees. There are some holes that will please long hitters and risk-reward opportunities that will test advanced players, but the design is still player friendly enough for high handicappers.

Puzzled
On the third hole, which is a par 3, the ranger came driving over from hole 6 right beside the green on 3 while we were teeing off. Puzzling why he would do that. He then drove to the tee box and hit a shot to the green before we even made it to our cart. Again, puzzling. He then played holes 4 and 5 behind us instead of going to the group ahead of us and telling them to let us through or speed up. Puzzling. I was hitting my second shot on 6 when he came driving past us and went to hole 12, where he teed off, even though there was a 2 group back up on 7 tee. Puzzling why he wouldn't at least go over and find out why the group on the green didn't wave the group on the tee up per the sign saying to do so.. In a nutshell it would behoove management to ensure these guys are doing their jobs instead of working on their games while the rest of us are left, well.....puzzled.
Playable
I enjoy the layout. Everything is in front of you. Couple short risk reward holes
Good conditions. Slow play. No ranger
Course conditions are great. Played in 5.5 hrs due to 2 ridiculously slow groups in front of us. No ranger to be found to speed them up.
Great Course but booking error
The course was great as always. The layout is fantastic, greens roll true, etc. There were quite a few unfixed pitch marks, but that aside, the course was fantastic. My only real issue was that I booked an 18 hole time, but the starter refused to send me out for 18 due to time constraints. Indian Ridge staff should look to fix this bug in the app for their tee time offerings, as the starter was right. Only 9 hole times should be available after 6pm.
Perfect day
Played on Father’s Day and pace was great even with no open tee times. Course condition was as good as it gets. IR is a great/fun course at a good price.
Great country feeling course
I was able to get through 18 in 3 hours, some tee boxes were a bit soft and the fairways were patchy only on a couple holes but besides that this place is awesome! Definitely coming back and gotta do better than an 87 haha
Great course
All was good except the course allowed 6 players to play as a group.
Slowed down pace for all who followed.
