Stoneybrook Golf Club
About
Stonybrook Golf Club boasts seven sets of tees, making it a truly versatile course that any skill level can play. It has been certified by the National Golf Course Owners Association as being beginner friendly. The layout features wide fairways with generous landing areas leading to large, undulating greens that are bordered by intimidating bunkers and contoured mounding. The golf course is one of the longest in southwest Florida at 7,453 yards from the back tees, making it a long hitter's paradise. The difficult-to-read greens will challenge even the best players. The course wanders through a scenic landscape of pristine wildlife preserves. The sparkling lakes that are scattered throughout come into play, as do the abundant pines, oaks, and cypress trees.

Golfer Reviews
Great course and conditions
Played here the last day of our golf vacation. Sorry I didn’t play it sooner because would have liked to play it again. Will definitely be on our list for next visit. Course layout is challenging but very fair. You will not get bored playing multiple rounds here.
Very enjoyable round
My first time playing the course and won’t be the last. I enjoyed the layout. It it a fair test of your whole game. I played the middle tees since it was my first time playing but it looks like it would be a great tract from all the tees.
Greens had been aerated in the past few weeks but had recovered nicely. They were a little slow though.
There is a very good variety of holes. The practice area is also top notch.
Very disappointed
I was not happy to pay a premium and still have to pay $10 for range balls.
The cart paths were full of potholes. My back was hurting from all the bouncing.
The tea boxes were in horrible shape.
The overall conditions of the course were not very good
Plugged greens
Although necessary this time of year , plugged and sanded greens make putting an adventure. Wish I had seen they were plugged, I would have played elsewhere
Stoneybrook
Greens were atrocious and just punched. Tees are a mess and need care and seeded. Fairways had clumps of grass from poor mowing practices. Below average public course with no care or pride in maintenance. Traps also a mess.
Thumbs Up
Stoneybrook is a fun golf course. It has a friendly staff and vibe. The layout is varied but always playable, although the greens had been aerated so were rough and sandy on this visit. As it was, I did not have to putt on No. 14, thanks to a hole-in-one! Recommended.
I wish that I would have been informed about the recent green aerifacation when I prepaid the fees.
No where on the course description info was this mentioned.
OVER ALL
I truly love playing this course.
From the moment you arrive the attendants are extremely friendly and helpful. Very nice and pristine facilities. My review is based on present conditions
THE GREENS HAVE BEEN RECENTLY PUNCHED.
I didn't see this warning when I made my reservations, maybe I missed it.
Something small but its always erked me , they have no cups for their Ice and water. They have ice and water but no cups you have to buy a drink or a course mug in order to drink water..
That being said , I truly enjoy playing this course.
Bring Your Own Cup
I can’t comprehend how a course in SW Florida doesn’t provide any cups. You do have the option of buying an unwashed drinking container from the clubhouse.
Thick sand on greens.
No airification alert. But beyond that the greens were sanded so thick that there were footprints where you putted. At least sweep the greens after sanding. Some of the greens were so thick they were unsuitable for play.
Water scam
After not playing there for a couple years I was very disappointed. Mid summer and close to 95 degrees we arrived at the water station to discover no cups available and a sign saying containers available for sale inside. The snack shack being closed left us with no choice but to purchase 2 “cheap” containers for 40$. I’ve played at 30+ courses in this area and many more in other states and countries and have never played without proper water availability. Hope your insured when someone collapses.
Great challenging course
I’m very new to the game of golf, I’ve only been playing for about 2 months and so far of the course within the Naples-Ft Myers area, this one ranks in the top 5. Beautiful course but also very challenging
