About
Stonybrook Golf Club boasts seven sets of tees, making it a truly versatile course that any skill level can play. It has been certified by the National Golf Course Owners Association as being beginner friendly. The layout features wide fairways with generous landing areas leading to large, undulating greens that are bordered by intimidating bunkers and contoured mounding. The golf course is one of the longest in southwest Florida at 7,453 yards from the back tees, making it a long hitter's paradise. The difficult-to-read greens will challenge even the best players. The course wanders through a scenic landscape of pristine wildlife preserves. The sparkling lakes that are scattered throughout come into play, as do the abundant pines, oaks, and cypress trees.

Beautiful course
The course was beautiful and challenging enough for intermediate to experienced golfers. Staff was courteous and the pace of play was excellent
Overpriced, as are most of the courses in this area at this time of year..Would only recommend because there are few public courses in the are to play at a “relatively” lower price.
Good public golf in S FL
Price/Value:
It's not cheap, but what is at this time of yr? Public Golf in warm weather locations in the winter is expensive. That is a given. This course is no high end private club, but it is no dog track either. It's probably fairly priced for what it is & time of yr etc.
The good:
Overall condition is quite good. Greens are fast and true. Fairways and tee boxes are all in good condition.
Nice layout. No blind tees. Interesting enough to be fun and a challenge. Lots of ways to find trouble, watter on lots of holes & greens are fast and fairly tricky so it's not an easy course.
The not so good:
Practice facility is mediocre at best. Putting and chipping are ok, but range is poor. It is additional fee & you hit off mats & out into water so..... well you get the idea. It isn't top notch. Clubhouse is basically non existent so food is pretty limited. I'm sure this wouldn't be the case every day, but we got hot digs at the turn and they didn't have ketchup. Come on.... who doesn't like ketchup on their dog? Lame....
Overall:
Pretty good experience. I would go back again.
Very playable. Fun for all of us from a 12 to 18 handicap.
Greens were rolling fast.
Great track for beginners and low handicap players.
It's wide open BUT with a lot of water. Greens were fast and trur. A but expensive but it's season in Florida so.......
