Great effort on upkeep!

Greens and fairways are in the best shape then I have ever seen. Great job on that. Bunkers could use a lil work but overall a nice easy course. Hard to lose a ball here.

Terrible course

This is a terrible course. Dead greens, weeds in the fairways. Pace of play was awful. Other golfers had no golf/course etiquette. I won't be back. Don't waste your time with this course.

Fairway grass slowly getting there

Still weed patches various spots in fairways. Tee boxes ok but more even grass needed. Nice work being done around course, cutting rough, etc. Greens mostly good.

Zip around course playing at right times, usually afternoon. Hole layout good, very fair, many are wide. Very friendly staff

Chiefland is Worth The Drive!

I have gone over to play at the Chiefland Golf and Country Club several times with friends from Gainesville. The course is in pretty good condition, the greens are nice, the fairways are in good shape, the layout is fun, it's well-drained with no boggy spots, and the people are always welcoming. Chiefland is a good facility at a great price. I recommend it!

Best course around for the price and course conditions

I play here 3 to 4 times a week i've never had a bad time there.

Staff is very friendly nice. All the members are also so nice. I've played with a few of them whether you're alone or with a foresome, you're never pushed and never waiting hardly at all
