Chi Chi Rodriguez Golf Club
About
The Chi Chi Rodriguez Golf Club, centrally located on McMullen Booth Road a comparably short course, offering just 5,454 yards from the blue tees and a slope rating of 118. Most of the fairways are wide, making errant shots still playable. In essence, it is the ideal place to work on your golf game, to correct that nasty slice or learn to hit that oversized driver without fear of losing 100 balls. As a result, it is a favorite among novice golfers who want to be challenged but also have an enjoyable round.

Fabulous course design. Plan your shots.
Needs water. Teeing greens are shot.
Tons of roll. Course was packed.
Ranger was helpful.
Green are good
Second time playing the course and found it better than my first time. I played from the blues and tee shots required more placement than distance only used my driver 3 times. I would return and play again as I would know more again how to play the course
Busy but good.
The course was in good condition but bottlenecks at par 3's. On course bathrooms need more cleaning during busy days,
Very enjoyable day
The course was just challenging enough to keep things interesting, but not so much that you felt defeated. It seemed crowded but we actually finished in 4:05 hrs, so all other golfers kept up their pace. But best of all was the staff and the ‘regulars’. They made our visit welcoming and we are already talking about next year.
First time here
If your looking for value and nice course you will want to play here. Seems like on this day was very slow. I don’t want to play courses that have 4 groups of foursomes on the same hole. That happened a lot on many holes. I’d come back if I knew I wasn’t going to wait on every hole. Until I’m sure that doesn’t occur I will not be back. It seems like they just over booked and as soon as the group in fairway hit second shot you was let off.
With tempting choices of ball play, it's a great course design
The courses conditions are improving.
Fairways are greener. Rough is still dormant.
TEe boxes need lwork.
This is very fun course! And this is also a very popular course..
The conditions are better than average for this time of year for public courses.
There is also a ranger.
But I think its condition is just average for overall comparisons anywhere anytime.
A challenging course. The conditions were typical for winter. Lots of water, hills and sand. A few holes the cart path overlapped with the tee box so be aware.
excellent course layout with lots of bunkers guarding most greens
Enjoyable round at this well designed course. It is dry. Lots of fairway and green roll. Nice design even from the ladies' tees. Played in 4 hour 20 minutes, even letting a twosome paly through. Had to wait to tee off most holes on the front nine. It's a shame the course is not in better condition. It's a great value for the money, though. I will be back !!!
Slow, slow, slow
Not a Ranger ever appeared. I have never been behind 4 women that were this SLOW. it was the tail end of a Women's League. These 4 women should be barred from golf. The course was in pretty good shape. The carts were clean. The rest rooms smelled terrible. Where was the Ranger?
Good layout, pace of play an issue
I really like the layout of Chi-Chi's. For a relatively short course it has some interesting holes, is well bunkered and good shots are rewarded. I have played this course several times over the years and pace of play seems to always be an issue. On Friday it was particularly bad. The foursome in front of us watches too much golf on TV, it was like they were putting for a million dollars. Get a grip folks, eyeball your put and stroke it and be ready to go when the next person is finished.
Great Day
Great day for the Chi Chi course. Staff was very friendly. Course in great condition. Pace of play average, we got stuck behind a group that couldn’t manage the course properly. Waited on every tee box but that’s expected for prime Florida golf. Pin placement was set up like if we were playing a Sunday PGA tournament … greens were lighting fast so it was challenging to put out for par. That being said. Will be back for more punishment.
