Below public courses’ average quality
The quality of the course has fallen since I played it 5 years ago. Tee boxes, bunkers and the greens were of very poor quality. Back tees were also inappropriately far back, making it impossible to reach green in 2 shots at some par 5, even after a 300 y drive. Fairways were ok but narrow making the tee-shot challenging (lots of water hazards).
Great course, poor conditions due to heavy rain the day before.
Course and staff are always great. Unfortunately the course was extremely wet with standing water, flooded bunkers and cart patch only. Management should have offered a reduced greens fee based on the poor conditions relating to weather.
Played with Tony , a member, and it made the round very enjoyable.

A great “Hot” deal
This is a favorite course to play. Not too many homes or water to disrupt game of make the course silly.

Good but not great
I like this course alot. I played it from the tips and it makes the course very challenging which i was prepared for and was looking for. The layout is superb. Easily top 10 best layouts I ever played and I have played several major hosting courses and regular pga tour & dp world tour courses.
What I feel is missing from a top notch review is the course condition/maintenance. The neighbor course Herons Glen is in much better shape. If Magnolia Landing had that kind of maintenance it would be a truly amazing course to play

Florida Golf near Ft Myers
Very nice course but the slope rating is much too low for this golf course, with 17/18 holes with water.
I enjoyed the challenge, and if I am near again, then I will give it another chance.
