Not worth the money
I was in town for a day and searched for nice tracks to play. Magnolia Landing looked great online from what photos I saw. I went ahead and booked my tee time. Upon arrival I dropped my bag and belongings off the a couple very friendly cart guys. I went in and paid $125 which included unlimited range balls, which was nice. Went out to the range and the starter explained the flag system in the fairway & on the greens. He was very helpful and got me set up with the 3 guys I wound up playing with. After warming up and putting for a bit it was tee time. Once we hit our tee shots it was pretty evident that they seem to be overcharging for the condition of the track. There were more than several greens with large patches of the grass replaced with mismatched and poorly cut grass. Making putting on these holes less than acceptable. Quite a few fairways also had some work being done. I understand it hadn't rained in over a month, but I would expect for the price being charged to play at least the fairways and greens would be green and lush. No such luck. I've played all over the country at some really nice and prestigious tracks. The greens fees here should probably be in the $45-70 range. I wouldn't recommend playing here at the current price for the current condition.

Nice Course/Residents Beware
This is a nice golf course. Not sure if it's worth the high price-point.
If you are a resident, beware of their restrictions for your privately owned golf cart. I have a brand new 4-seater golf cart with bag rack. It is raised with larger tires, but they are street tires, not off-road tires. They would not allow my cart on their course. That certainly will influence my decision to purchase a membership or play there in the future.

Bones are OK but course condition wasn't great. Much better options.

Decent course avoid renting clubs
The Good: staff is very nice, food in the restaurant is good and decently priced. Course is good not great. Conditions are good, and the pace of play was good. Cart girl was around and $5 16 oz Yuengling's or $22 for a 6 pack of them is a fantastic deal.
The bad: Not $120 course. Maybe a $65 course. I would say this is a decent muni. Houses are right up to the fairway on a lot of holes which is the norm here, but... meh.
The ugly: The rental clubs are beyond pathetic. For $50 you get 10 Wilson clubs. They don't have stiff shaft rentals, and what you get is truly bottom of the barrel in quality.
All in all a decent play, but I would avoid at all costs if you are going to rent clubs.

Nice surprise.
Didn't read about the included range which was a nice surprise. The pace of player was consistent with March in Florida which we expected. Overall, nice layout, course wasn't too far away and overall felt positive about the decision. After playing the municipal course in Fort Myers the day before at a similar rate, Mangolia was far superior.

Golfing with friends
First time playing at Magnolia. Book a foursome with my wife and our friends. The course was in fantastic condition and the staff was very friendly. Definitely worth going back.
