Still one of my favorites in Town. Challenging as there is water on 17 of the 18 Holes, but rewarding if you play smart. Look forward to playing again in the off season…

Challenging golf,TT value add
Play the course a lot when visiting in Fort Myers, one of my favorites. The course as many courses in Florida has a plenty of water. Don’t overplay your ability and put yourself in striking distance and you can score. I play from the white tee’s I have tried from the green and there are several holes that will eat your lunch, not for a fun round. Golf is at a premium these days in Florida,even getting TT is a challenge. Magnolia for the money is best value around Fort Myers and better course them some quote better courses I’ve played . I‘be paid more for courses that I wouldn’t play again for less,. We all have our opinion of what is better. I’ve lived in Arizona,Hawaii Colorado and now NY. I have a good idea of value for the dollar.and Mag in season is good value………….

You’re not desperate enough to play here
Gave the course a second chance and won’t make that mistake again. Greens were terrible and couldn’t have been mowed in the last week. Bumpy and patchy. Tee boxes and fairways were long and shaggy. The layout is quirky but not terrible. The course has potential but there are so many better options for much less money. if you’re just wanting a place to knock the ball around it’s not bad but for the price the greens were absolutely terrible. It would have been nice to get a heads up before booking or during check in, greens could bounce or break three inches in either direction off all the patchy grass, just not worth playing and a complete disappointment.

Enjoyable
Played Magnolia today for the first time and despite prior negative comments on GolfNow, I thought it was a fun course to play. Yes there is water on the course, but it’s Florida. Tee boxes and fairways in good condition. Greens were fast. Drink cart came by 3x during the round. Staff inside and out were very friendly. It was a windy day on the course. Hubby didn't like it.
Tight. Water on 17 holes. Very good shape except the greens were sometimes too bumpy. Pricey course for the bottle value compare to area courses.

Bag Drop guys are awesome- Don’t forget the tip
This course does not disappoint! Every course is raising fees and Magnolia is no different so the value is just not there. The pace of play was 4:10 and was monitored by the ranger. The tee sheet was full, the weather was fantastic but the the beverage cart was off the course at 3PM. Aside from the price to play and the lack of a cold beverage from 3 to 6, this course is really fun to play. If you can make it through holes 1,2 & 3, the course is gettable. The staff is very friendly and the guys working the carts and bag drop are very professional!

Winter Golfing in Florida
The course was beautiful many water challenges. Very friendly staff. Definitely not a walking course due to the distance between most holes. Will return once a year, but costly for Canadians due to our dollar.
