Providence Golf Club

Have played this course a number of times including when it was first built and there were only 9 holes available. We were invited to come out for customer appreciation days. I thank the course for the great value but if I would have payed anymore id be upset. Some of the greens are destroyed. Looks as though they have a disease. This is the worst condition I have ever seen this course. Wanted to ask if they are managed by Cele GM as this is the condition of most of their courses. Love the track but will not go back there are too many good courses in Central Florida to play one that is poorly maintained.

Golf course was in decent shape and pace of play was reasonable at 4 h 15 minutes. Started a bit late unfortunately. Paired up with 3 random players who were all good guys. Enjoyable round. Would recommend Providence Golf Club. Green fee rate was very reasonable.

I could have really enjoyed this course. Unfortunately due to some slow play and too many people for a single tee time my afternoon round took over 5 hours- extremely frustrating to wait on every shot on the back nine. Perhaps they need to space out the times if regular players are elderly…

Played Providence Golf Club yesterday, and the course was in outstanding shape from start to finish. The greens were soft yet rolled beautifully true—perfect for scoring while still offering a fair test. The fairways were lush and immaculate, and the bunkers were in magnificent condition with great sand that played consistently.

What really stood out was the service. The staff—from check-in at the pro shop, to the friendly starter, all the way through to the restaurant—was second to none. Everyone was welcoming, efficient, and genuinely helpful, which made the entire experience even better.

This is a must-play if you’re in the Orlando area. Highly recommend it—I’ll definitely be back soon!

Course was in great shape, greens rolled true and were pretty quick. The only downside was the bunkers were in manicured. But overall bang for your buck!

The course, staff and condition are 5 star

For $59 you can’t beat it. Everybody else wants over 100 very nice course. Everybody was friendly and I teamed up with three other players that were fun to play with. I always golfed by myself.

I'll start by saying the course was very nice. Great layout and very well maintained.

Our round started 20 minutes late because they had no carts available.

The front 9 took two hours, but the back took 3:40. We waited 7-10 minutes at every tee box. Every hole had 3-4 groups playing or waiting.

We saw one ranger the whole day who just shrugged his shoulders and said it is what it is.

Really unacceptable pace management.

Had a great time playing at Providence on a semi rainy day! Course was in great shape and greens were rolling. Can’t beat the service and beautiful layout of the challenging course layout. Great value for a well maintained course in the Orlando area. Truly recommend this course before the summer traffic gets too bad. Pace of play was good as well

I played golf at Providence Golf Club after it was recommended by a starter from another course. Providence was able to get our group a time mid-morning and even though it was a very rainy Sunday morning...everyone from the front desk to the starter had everything running smoothly. The course itself was great, very fun and interesting to play with terrific greens. The manager, a Pittsburgh guy like us, recommended lunch and we stayed and chatted. Providence Golf Club will be on our Orlando itinerary

I played this course a lot when the price was reasonable, then they increased with no residence rate, so I stop playing it. Now since they have adjusted their rate - it’s golf on

Greens were well cared for and challenging, views were spectacular. The Bermuda was grabby in the spongy valleys before the sun hit. Had a 10:00AM tee time, arrived at 9AM and when we pulled up to the starter at 9:50 there were 5m4 groups ahead of us. We were a twosome with a threesome of locals ahead of us. There were no holes that we didn’t wait to tee off and very few follow-up shots that weren’t delayed. Not sure what the cause of the backup was, but 18 holes at a 4:40 pace was rough.

My wife and I played 10 courses on our Easter trip to Orlando and this was a real highlight. Great Championship Course in great shape, friendly staff, cars with GPS and everything for a great price. If you don't like this place, quit golfing :-)

Watch out for Gators, they are in every pond!

Only thing that wasn't really great, was the gift for the Easter egg hunt: My wife found one of the 18 eggs that where hidden and got...one can of beer. A little creativity wouldn't have hurt :-)

Weather was perfect, played the course in under 4 hours, course was in great condition. Highly recommend playing this course.
