Providence Golf Club

First time playing Providence. It needed the ranger to do his job. Pace of play was pretty slow. Always waiting for the group in front to tee off and wait to hit second shot. Looking around the entire course was backed up, not just the group in front of us. Fairways and greens were very good. Tee boxes were good enough. Paid $51 thru GolfNow and that's what this course is worth in my opinion.

I have been coming to Davenport / Orlando for a number of years as a casual golfer and had heard good things about Providence. Here with my wife and two other golfers this year, we booked Providence as an ‘extra round’ before they went back to the UK. Wow! For value for money you cannot beat it. We didn’t need to play early so a 12 noon tee time had no one in front of us the day we played, with a 2-ball that never caught us. Challenging greens, some lovely hole set-ups, and a very nice bar / restaurant to have a drink afterwards (and open later than some other clubs in the Champions Gate area). We will definitely play here again.

Having lived next to the course and played here for 18 years I can say that the course is currently in the best condition ever. They have invested time and money in improving all aspects and it really shows.

Current management and staff are to be congratulated on a great job.

My brother and I came down for our family vacation in early June. We arrived fairly early to our round, about 45 minutes early, and with the course being open, they let us go out early. Bunch of wildlife to go with the fun. Course challenges you even if you are experienced. Would definitely come back again!

Hidden gem. Played on a Wednesday and hardly anyone playing. Course is in good condition. I was curious why there were a lot of holes that were cart path only although it looked dry

Golfing side was great but bar/restaurant staff was not friendly at all to my wife who asked for a coffee.

Good value for the price. The course offers an enjoyable layout and overall provides a solid golfing experience. The greens were recently aerated, which affected playability somewhat, and the fairways and tee boxes could use a bit more attention and maintenance. Overall, I would rate it as an average to above-average course and would recommend it, especially considering the cost-benefit ratio.

Can't find better fairway grass in Orlando. Had a great time. Pace of play was great. Beautiful course. Can't wait to be back.

Course was in good shape. Fairways and tees were solid. Greens are still recovering but in nice shape. Slower than usual but ran true.

For the money you can’t beat Providence. The design and course conditions are well worth the price.

Great place to play very well maintained! I play all around the country and this is worth the getting as many rounds in as possible when in town. The staff is amazing!! The condition of the course is always excellent !! I’m a bogie player and when I’m here I’m more of the 10 over guy because the course is predictable due to the proper maintenance.

Got to say great course for the money paid $69 each and the course is in great shape friendly staff so all I would say is play it you won’t be disappointed

My buddy and I caught a hot deal for $46.99 and it was absolutely fantastic. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. The course was in the best shape of any course we've played in a very long time. The greens were incredible and running true. We played at our own pace and felt like we were the only golfers on the course.

I highly recommend getting out to Providence if you can handle the heat cause the experience is worth it.
