Providence Golf Club

I played golf at Providence Golf Club after it was recommended by a starter from another course. Providence was able to get our group a time mid-morning and even though it was a very rainy Sunday morning...everyone from the front desk to the starter had everything running smoothly. The course itself was great, very fun and interesting to play with terrific greens. The manager, a Pittsburgh guy like us, recommended lunch and we stayed and chatted. Providence Golf Club will be on our Orlando itinerary

Greens were well cared for and challenging, views were spectacular. The Bermuda was grabby in the spongy valleys before the sun hit. Had a 10:00AM tee time, arrived at 9AM and when we pulled up to the starter at 9:50 there were 5m4 groups ahead of us. We were a twosome with a threesome of locals ahead of us. There were no holes that we didn’t wait to tee off and very few follow-up shots that weren’t delayed. Not sure what the cause of the backup was, but 18 holes at a 4:40 pace was rough.

My wife and I played 10 courses on our Easter trip to Orlando and this was a real highlight. Great Championship Course in great shape, friendly staff, cars with GPS and everything for a great price. If you don't like this place, quit golfing :-)

Watch out for Gators, they are in every pond!

Only thing that wasn't really great, was the gift for the Easter egg hunt: My wife found one of the 18 eggs that where hidden and got...one can of beer. A little creativity wouldn't have hurt :-)

Weather was perfect, played the course in under 4 hours, course was in great condition. Highly recommend playing this course.

This is one of best courses you can play. They're very few bad spots that can be found. Fairways and tees all have grass. Greens are excellent, but a little slow. That is just personal preference. not any downside to playing here

Course was in pretty good shape. Haven't played course in a few years, glad the construction on course u s over.

Greens are a little slow, but the shape this course is completely compensated. Challenging layout, beautiful views, totally recommended.

The course was in good shape, fairways and greens among the best in the area. The only downside was the pace of play. On the front 9, there was a back log on every tee. It improved slightly on the back, but it still took too long.

The course was in great shape. The fairways really good to play from. I really enjoyed my round.

I played several round while in Florida.

This was the best I had come across in terms of actual guest to play with. I ran 10 minutes late and they set me up with another group. Play d the whites and it was a good challenge.. Fairways and greens were great and no easy task as the contours were many. Sand traps were pretty sandy, what a change and fun. Staff from Pro Shop to Starter was great.

Back 9.... We had to wait and waited .. slow play and ended up more than 30 minutes behind. But all and all I had a great experience and the group with Larry and Lucas were great players and kept me in the game.

The course was full on this day. But a five hour plus playing time is too long for 18 holes. The course was short of carts but I saw a foursome with three carts. Giving regular course golfer’s preference is ok until it affects other visiting golfers

We loved the course. Play way very slow and we never saw a ranger. Fairways quite bare. Most of the greens are good with some bare spots. Very fast. We got a "deal" rate on golf now at $125. Too expensive for the conditions.

Lovely spot to play golf. Course layout and condition were great. Whole place has a nice vibe to it. Not sure if unseasonably cool day for Florida kept numbers down but we breezed round in well under 4 hours. A lot of great golf shots needed to score well, but nice big fairways for higher handicaps.
