Meadow Oaks Golf & Country Club

have played there many times in the past. now that the snow birds have gone, it's easy to get a round in. the tee boxes were in pretty good shape. as was the fairways. the greens were so-so. great value.

This course has changed a lot. Tee boxes are non existent and greens are shady at best. Changes in the staff not the greatest. Don’t get me wrong I like playing here but until the course conditions change I don’t plan on playing here for quite some time. They told me months ago changes were coming and the course would come around but it just got worse. Very disappointing.

Course was is very poor condition! Tee boxes were horrible. Fairways mostly bad. Greens were worst condition they’ve been in. The ownership must of given up.

New owners and the course is in pretty rough shape. Overgrown areas; greens are dry/dead; fairways not maintained well; no driving range.

The fairways are in mediocre condition. The greens are like washboards and do not roll true. Pace was slow with a couple of five-somes allowed to play. Plenty of other options around - avoid.

There is so much I like about playing here: Staff is very friendly, they have a starter which many courses nowadays don't and they will direct you to start at the first or tenth depending on how many groups go out. The reason I have difficulty rating this course is there are weeds nearly all over the sides of the fairways, the roughs and even in the tee boxes which are chewed up badly. The greens are not bad even though they were recently punched. If you can get the low cost offers it is a great value. Course has potential but they need some landscapers out there taking better care of it. Its weird when you play golf courses these days and you never see any landscapers anywhere. What has happened to the days when you played and saw 4 or 5 different workers cutting grass and seeding as well as removing foliage that is overgrown? This is a 5 star course as far as service and value but a 3 star as far as playing conditions.

Since new ownership has taken over the condition of the course has declined horribly. The tee boxes are dirt, the fairways are not cut and full of weeds. The greens are nor puttable. I have been going here for 5 years and have witnessed the decline.

I know there are new owners trying to put in a lot of work to make this place better, and I see the work. But the conditions for the process were not great. Almost no legitimate tee box to speak of. Greens were extremely sandy. Fairway to rough melded way too much. But those are all things I know that could change and get better. What I did not like, is having a ranger watch my group like a hawk asking repeatedly to try to pick up pace of play… clearly we had a couple players that were not as experienced, but we paid like everyone else… also we started 12 minutes after our tee time and still managed to finish in about 4 and a half hours. Trying to rush anyone for something they paid for will NOT help with their experience of that establishment. So thank you for that…

The weather looked bad and it ran most people off. It was a pleasant round except they were aerifying the greens

Tee boxes bad no grass, greens bare spots no grass fairways need work, rough over grow needs to be cut.
