The fairways had been crossed patched in the greens were in terrible shape I guess for this time of the year it wasn’t too bad, but the price was not good.

A much better course after the recent re-design and renovation. Greens are larger and in excellent shape. Several holes require accurate tee shots to avoid trouble. A couple of fairways are in need of growth, but efforts are in process to improve these areas. Lots of elevation changes that are not typical of a Florida course. Nice to see that groups are well separated to keep the pace of play on track. Friendly staff makes Water Oak a great place to play.

Very very friendly staff inside the Clubhouse and outdoors. Well managed tee times and pace of play. Course scenic with some rather challenging holes. Hilly to offer diversity. Cafe staff lovely and appetizers good. Service exceptional. GPS took us to a resident card only entry so website may indicate entry off Hwy 441 only.

Excellent day all around, once they get some of the fairways repaired this course will be perfect. The greens are in really good shape. The staff are all wonderful to deal with. The team working in the bar and restaurant are very pleasant and helpful with recommendations. You can't beat the after round drink for the price of your score!!

Five holes into playing with my father and husband, the Marshall informed me that my dress was not up to code because my straps were not greater than 1 inch across. I had already paid for 18 holes. I had already been cleared by the starter. Then they refused to give me a refund, though they wouldn’t let me continue to play. They said they could give me a rain check, but we flew in from Texas to see family and would never play here again, even if it was paid for. I would never come here again. My husband is furious, I feel objectified as every staff member I passed after that exchange referred to me as the girl with *that* outfit. My husband googled pictures of LPGA players wearing the same outfit. I was very uncomfortable and felt targeted for my age and sex. The golf course is in a trailer park, I know my dress was not bringing down the collective professionalism.

A very interesting course with lots of elevation changes and long par 3's. Fairways are not especially wide but the rough is generally easy, cept for the water and saw grass. Don't go there!. We enjoy this course and the friendly staff and plan to return many times.

Great course, was very confusing layout being the first time I’ve played there I thought I was playing the same holes twice., with different numbers. Otherwise excellent, nice hills and great conditions.

Only other thing was no driving range or practice area to warm up.

I will most likely play again someday.

It was rainy and windy when we played we’re gonna go home But my wife and I decided to stay and play in the rain. The staff was so friendly that they brought us rain jackets to plan in so we would keep warm and dry. Luckily the rain didn’t last long and the sun came out. They told us it was a newly designed course. They did an amazing job. I will definitely come back here and play again. The course was great and the staff was better. I highly recommend you come here and play.

Greens were fast but consistent and in good shape. Fairways were not very good, Lots of bare areas and tight lies because of the lack of grass. Tees were good. Course conditions were not as good as earlier in the year. The course is still a nice challenge.
