One of my favorite courses
I love playing here, great mix of long and short holes, and the greens are some of the best in the area.
To Much
This course has been around for years and it's in really good shape, both fairways and greens.
Speaking of greens, they are moderately fast and full, but the size of postage stamps. Now to the fairways, well they run parallel and up and down the hills and are way too close for comfort. Worst yet on some holes you have to guess which way your fairway goes do to the closeness of fairways. This was a choice of desperation for a tee time, but next time I'll pass.
Great grass on greens...not much anywhere else.
Title tells most of it. Some good hole layouts, elevation changes, etc. but lack of fairway/rough grass made it tougher to enjoy. Greens are the best around and short game really benefited.
Good value for your money
Water Oaks is a moderately challenging course. The course was dry so there was minimal grass, but we have had little rain lately. The green and tee boxes were great. The course is a links style with some interesting holes. On site is a very nice restaurant with outdoor seating. It is a nice atmosphere.
Water, sand and few trees
Loved the course, not much scenery, had some big water, and wonderful sand traps, well maintained, greens are in good shape, challenging, great company. I will play again.
Fun time
Course was in good shape for time of year. The lay out was interesting a little hard to follow in places. The greens were in good condition although s little slow.
Front 9 fun and fair, Back 9 will eat you alive!
Front nine has been simplified some and plays pretty easy. Back nine has forced carries over water that
exceed the ability of most senior golfers. Not fun to just donate balls to lakes! Also back nine has extreme elevation changes to blind greens.
Course was not marked properly so it was hard to tell where you were going. We saw many players going to the wrong tees! It was crowded and played a little slow because of the confusion of where to go next from various geens.
Fun round.
It was a beautiful day and the.course was quite busy. I was put with 3 other people since I was playing alone and enjoyed the company. The course was in good condition and the staff was friendly.
Course condition.
Greens are in pretty good shape overall. Fairway hitting off very tight lies due to fairway grass being sparse. Teed off first group in the AM had group's in front of us when we made the turn. Not a good practice.
very good considering
the course is in good condition with the exception of a temporary green and some bare spots rough and fairways do to flooding
Interesting layout.
Has some interesting holes nice elevation changes. Not in great shape but fun for the money.
Water Oaks. Has water!
Rainy day but the course was in pretty good shape! Greens were better than a lot of high dollar tracks! Challenging but very enjoyable! I will go there again soon
Nice layout. Interesting holes. Very small greens. Need to be very accurate off the tee and into the greens. Coming back from flooding this summer. 1 temp green. Overall a good value for the money. Elevation changes are the challenge. Overall a good experience.
Always Fun
One temporary green but the other 17 greens were in good shape. Fairways were a little thin and the course is still recovering from flooding this summer. They were pumping water out today. Yet overall in fairly good shape. We always enjoy the hills--especially holes 10, 11, and 12.
I saw much improvement
I was at this course a little over a year ago and did not plan on returning. After giving it another chance, I saw a much-improved course and will return again.
course not up to parr
i have played this course in the past and it was not in very good condition this time. lots of dirt and sand area's near all the greens, some greens felt like i was walking on marsh land they were so wet.over all conditions poor..
Fun golf course
One of the hilliest courses in Florida with lots of blind tee shots, Straight hitters will love it. Some of the tee boxes need to be seeded but the over all course conditions are very good. The staff is very efficient and friendly and the covered patio eating area beside the pro shop is fantastic.A challenging test of golf but fun for all levels of golfers.
Water and lots a oaks
Check in was pleasant and quick and got Us to tee off in time.
First time playing this coarse and it is challenging. There are large oak tree surrounding each hole that flow into water; what fun. Most of the greens are crowned so that means the chip and run is almost out of question. Yes I will play this coarse again.
sorry that this is not a golf course it's a goat ranch. so poorly maintain[that is a under statement ]. between the poor tee boxes for senior, and the goose grass that is ever where make the course a joke.save your money stay home.
