Legends Walk at Orange Lake Resort
About
Orange Lake Resort & Country Club boasts two Arnold Palmer-designed golf courses as well as two other courses, a championship and a nine-hole course. Arnold Palmer designed the most popular course at the club, the Legends, as well as the nine-hole Legends Walk. The latter course is reminiscent of a time when golfers would make their way through the links on foot. The 1,581-yard layout is an ideal walking course, offering both scenery and interesting challenges. the course features rolling fairways and water hazards. There are also strategically placed sand bunkers lurking treacherously along some of the greens. Palmer designed the course to be approachable to a wide range of players. There are five sets of diverse tees that give golfers the option to match the course exactly to their skill level.

Nice walking 9 holes course
If you like to walk, with or without a pull cart, this is a nice nine hole golf course! Pull carts do come with the price. The course is well-maintained and features nighttime lights so that you can play up until around 10 PM!
Great fun!
Had a wonderful time on the 9 hole walking course with my son. We are both beginners and the course, in my opinion, was a good course for us.
Under the Lights: Fun and Weirdness
Had rarely played par-3 courses and never under the lights. Had great time with both. Legends Walk is a pretty stout par-3 layout with several holes 190 yards +. Takes a while to get used to the nighttime conditions. Greens are understandably small and fairly level. Great walk and would definitely do it again.
Quibbles: Some lighting isn't great including where trees block them. [Prune] With holes winding among condos, in the dark not always easy to find next hole. [Add signage] Encountered one guy using a green for chipping practice (picked up my ball) and drunk trio playing corn-hole on another (really!). [Security!]
Slow play.
Should have had some one to speed up the slow players on the course.
Challenging layout
Not your typical par three. The course had several holes that were challenging and very enjoyable. Will probably play it again while we’re here at the Orange Lake resort
fun
This is a 9 hole par 3 that I can enjoy with my wife. I'm a 6 hcap and she is a social golfer, but the greens are moderately fast, many bunkers with new sand so it can be easy for her while a good test for me.. Length ranges from 100-200 yds so it's not a pitch and putt so she can have fun and I can be challenged.
Floodlit Par 3 Golf
This was a really enjoyable experience of floodlit golf. The course was a 9 hole par 3 course with some holes well in excess of 200 yards. Very reasonably priced and would definitely go back.
Great for a quick walk
We love to play this course when we want a quick round and can walk for the exercise.
EMPLOYEES HERE OFFER NO SUPPORT AT ALL.
The last time we booked and arrived on time the course was completely unplayable. It was totally fogged in. It would have been impossible to see the ball. Because the manager on duty (Michael) did not close the course we lost $25. He had instructed us to call him if I could'nt rectify with Golf Now and receive a future credit. I personally tried to reach him over the next ten days and all employees would do is tell me lies and or give me excuses regarding his working hours and/or health, or swear that he would return my calls. He never returned my calls. This week when I arrived on time the smooth talking wise guy employee on duty insisted that I did not prepay with Golf Now and demanded I pay the full amount, although I had a print out receipt stating no money due at course. It took him 20 minutes to find his own mistake, then made some smart comments regarding my need to relax. . Nice way to prepare golfers for a relaxing round. I would swear that this employee was one of those that I spoke to on the phone who told me he would have Michael call me back.
Great staff/great course
Terrence in the clubhouse was great and course was challenging and in great condition
We enjoyed the course but it would have been nice to be able to purchase a coffee or water at 800am
