Grandfather’s/Grandson outing!!
Course is in pretty good shape. Friendly staff. Will be back!!
Great short course.
Course was in great condition. One green on the back nine has a temporary green and main green is being restored, had no warning that it was a much shorter hole.
worst golf course !!
where to begin . the course has weeds on the greens (crab grass) . Sand spurs in the traps , grass. some greens have no grass with all the rain we been getting . there is no excuses . overall probably the last time we play this course it has turned for the worst . would not recommend this course to play . The Greens were aerated and were horrible to put on with crabgrass on the greens
Needs lots of work
Hit the fairway and grass hides the ball. Spent way to much time searching for balls that should be easily visible. And dead center on 2 and could not find the balls!!
Not friendly staff/starter
I had a tee time for 11:56 am. I checked in with the front desk and arrived early. I went to the 1st tee at 11:30 and while warming up, the same man (with an accent) drove out to the tee to tell me I could not tee off until 10 minutes before my tee time. I could understand this IF it was busy, but there were only 3 cars in the parking lot, of which, 1 was mine. I complied with the starters wishes. I never saw any golfers the entire 18 holes. When I finished, my vehicle was the only one left in the parking lot. I enjoy the course, but apparently the man at the front desk was well trained by the owner/management to not allow anyone out early under any circumstances.
Nice course
His is a very nice short course, but had been recently aeriated and many greens were very rough. Several had extremely dry patches. Under healthy conditions it is a challenging course.
Good value for the money. Greens were in dire need of some water.
Great little course.
Great place to play for the price. They are doing everything they can to make it safe to play.
Sunday round
Made a tee time at this course without reading the layout details. Didn't know it was a short course. Par 4s were interesting and so were the whole course. Challenging par 5 was last.
decent course for the money
First time playing this course and I don't have anything other than The Villages courses to compare it to. Course took a little time to get used to. Cart paths were just dirt and directions from the clubhouse were non-existent. Once we were on, it was OK. Greens were fast, fairways were OK in some parts, not so good in others. Everyone gets their own cart - no exceptions. Best price around for afternoon play. Hardly anyone else on the course. We started about 3 pm and finished 18 holes by 6. No rush and we took our time.
Fairways were all in relatively good shape, including the front nine greens. However, the back nine greens were in bad shape; a lot of rough areas and no grass.
don't play much I have to assume...
