Love this little course
We love this short course. Gives us a good chance to work on our short game.
It doesn’t appear as much maintenance has been done since Milton. Fairways are long. Roughs are really rough. Greens are bare or weedy.
The price is really good for the conditions. We enjoy playing here.
Rough Course
The gentleman in the pro shop was just great; he is s nice and accommodating and helpful.
This course is rough with high grass just off the fairways and the greens need more care.
Perhaps the hurricane has a lot to do with these conditions.
Fire ANTS galore
The greens, if you can call them that are horrid, at least 10 fire ant mounds per green. The tee boxes if not marked you would not know where they are. Grass has not been cut in quite some time. In all my years golfing this is the worst conditions I've ever played for a course. A pasture would probably have been better. A couple of years ago this course was OK, now it's the pits.
Core pasture? Goat Ranch. Neither.
To say this course is either a goat ranch or a cow pasture would be a serious compliment because if it was either one of those the grass on the course would be much shorter than it is. This place needs serious help. I played for $15 and it was barely worth that. I honestly can't recommend anyone playing here if you're wanting to play a serious round of golf. Now if you're just wanting to practice and hit some clubs it's better than a driving range.
The Lakes golf course
This course is more a par 3 course with a few 4 and 5 pars throwed in it is a great course for beginners and people getting back into the game

Nice Short Course
I brought my wife here for her second round of golf ever. It is a great course for learning, nice and short holes. I enjoy going to the Lakes even as a seasoned golfer. They do need more food and drink options, thats my only complaint. The grounds are about what you would expect for a $15 round of golf.

Enjoyed the course. Some holes require some attention, but overall looking good.
And the challenge is keeping it straight. No woods needed!!

It's a cow pasture
I have played this course on and off for seven years and I have never seen it in this bad of shape. The tee boxes and fairways were not cut with nothing but weeds growing out of control everywhere and most of the greens were burnt or diseased, it was as though everyone that worked there quit, very disappointed.

Conditions
Worst golf course in Florida. Looks like nothing been mowed this year. A real eyesore.
Walked off after the 10th hole. Avoid at all costs.
