The Club at Eaglebrooke

Great course and all staff members were extremely friendly especially working through these tough times of the Coronavirus. Had a great experience from the time I was welcomed at the pro shop until my round was completed.

Very good experience especially with everything that Covid-19 is dishing out. Course followed all guidelines for social distancing. Awesome layout and great course conditions. Will definitely put this in my regular rotation.

Will play again. I live in Tampa and worth the ride. Really look forward to playing again , because it helps to know some trouble areas to avoid.

Immaculate condition, amazing layout, fairways and greens couldn’t be better. I’ve seen this course advertised but never played. I now have a favorite course to play. A true hidden gem!

Even during the corona time course in very good shape. The month of March has had no rain yet course is nice. Do take bottled water with you as all courses have removed drinking water on course. They have also installed stops in all cups to keep balls near top of hole

This place is always in good shape, layout is fantastic. Water on 3/4 of the holes. Pace of play a little slow but a must play in Lakeland area.

I realize this review is different from most reviews I give but circumstances are so much different nowadays. Eaglebrooke takes precautions but also leaves a lot up to the individual to use his/her common sense. Pins are left in but advise not to pull. If you do,as I like to, I used a protective glove. Cups have inserts so ball never goes to the bottom of the cup. Rakes left in traps so IF you want to rake beautiful traps you can at your discretion. Water machine up front is still working with ice & water so ,again, if you want to use they supply cups (not providing cold water on Florida courses in this heat will kill more golfers than any virus!) Playing as a single had my own cart and starter let me go early as there was plenty of space between groups. Great staff!!! Plenty of workers still on the course working hard to keep conditions perfect. Course conditions were excellent, as usual. Great course. Now all my friends think I'm insane for driving sometimes 2 hrs to play a course so that is why I fly solo most of the time. THIS COURSE is worth every minute of that drive. If it were closer I would play 5-6 times a year. As it is I'm already looking forward to a trip back in a month or two. Great job & kudos to all

We have a pandemic going on and when we grabbed 2 carts, which on the their website it says that that’s ok, we were told we couldn’t. In fact he came all the way out to the first hole to take the other cart from us even though there was at least 20 carts available. THIS IS A PANDEMIC EAGLEBROOKE WHE. WILL YOU START TO TAKE TBINGS SERIOUSLY!!!!!!!

Great layout. Every hole is different. Greens in great shape and challenging.. Sand is white and fluffy, well maintained. Course is a good shape even considering the recent dry spell. I’ll keep coming back here again and again. Worth every penny at any tee time.

This is a decent challenging course if you’re willing to spend a little extra on a round. I was unhappy that their course prices didn’t match any 3rd party tee time app. Golfnow showed what the tee time prices were, so instead we called and booked a tee time, but when we got there the prices were higher. So already off to a bad start. However, the scenery and course layout is amazing, to realize Lakeland has that nice of a course is pretty spectacular.

This is the best public course in Lakeland, so go play!

I’ve played here a few times and love the layout. Course is in very good condition. They have a nice practice area with pitching and putting along with full size range. Not much water on the front 9 but back nine has water on most holes

Love playing here it’s like playing a private country club .Only about a1/4 the the price .The last three holes make u think you’re playing at Pebble beach

Not so great greens, i have seen worse in the central florida area though. Pace was ok marshals keep an eye out. Layout is ok. Just average at everything . Nothing bad nothing great other then the service was very nice.

Very good course the staff treated you great and with respect. Definitely got to be on the correct side putt can be tricky as is that island fairway. I will return.

Played March 13,2020 in warm dry conditions. The course is in good shape and is a challenging test of golf. I found the greens to be slow but true. Lots of water but the fairways are generous. Good value at $40-50 during March. Greens need to be faster before I would give a 5* rating.

Eaglebrooke staff was extremely professional and friendly, keeping things moving. Very nice track that is challenging but fair. Lots of water but wide fairways where water is a factor.
