Bartow Golf Course

Really nice course, and also challenging. Some work being done on the greens, but as someone else said this just shows there’re taking care of this course. Overall, the was fun to play and the golf carts are up to date with gps with allow you to see where your at at all times and they are set up to not allow to to get to close to the greens and other areas of limits to carts. Nice addition, loved it!

Took my wife to play Bartow for her first time for my Birthday. Course was in great shape, fairways and tee boxes were lush and the greens were fast with pins placed on slopes, making putting fun and difficult. My wife would beg to differ, as she putted many balls off the greens. Very good layout, in classic Donald Ross style, turtle back greens with strategically place greenside and fairway bunkers. We arrived early and had lunch at the course (Mulligans); service and food was excellent; the club and restaurant staff rocks it. And, kudos to the course maintenance staff for all their hard work. Even though we haven't had much rain, the course looks great.

First time playing the course. Course is is in good shape, greens were pretty quick. Course has the natural challenges Ross built into most of his courses. Fun place to play, will visit again!

First time really nice track challenging but rewards goood tshots and iron play to greens. Greens r wicked quick and was very surprised at condition some greens have replacement patches cut out and dropped on to repair what was once bad places Which means the town owned course has a staff on the maint team that cares about the condition Will b back as i live now in central Florida and the hotdeal price was a BIG BONUS. ☮️⛳️

This is the first time I’ve played this course. It’s a Donald Ross design very enjoyable. Staff very friendly. You should go play it.

This course is in great shape even after all the rain we have had, the crew takes good care of it especially for a city course. Some long holes and some trees to tend with but overall, a great open course, greens are fast and can be tricky, I really like the course too bad they don't have memberships, I will definitely be playing there more often.

The course was alright but there were several holes where it wouldn’t allow the cart in the fair way, it made our game take much longer than it needed to.

Course is in very good shape. A lot of effort has been made to make this course very playable tee to green.

My first time at the “Tow”. Proshop cashier and the starter were very helpful. Tee boxes and greens were in good shape. Fairways were pretty soft from all the rain recently but overall they were good. The pace was a little slow on the first 9 but picked up when some of the groups called it a day at the turn. We liked the layout and will definitely be back.

Booked to play as wanted to try another Donald Ross course. Staff all very friendly and was allowed to start early though not until last of the earlier shotgun had teed off on number one. This should have been a worry and rightly so as we had to play behind really slow guys/groups playing a club scramble until they finished on number 12. That said I enjoyed the course which has smooth fast greens. Fairways are patchy at best so played preferred lies so that I could at least approach Ross’s small greens from grassy lies. Grill room looked inviting as did the specials board.
