Rainy Season will make the Course green for the Season.
We have had a lot of rain in Florida. A lot of holes were cart path only. And, I think it should have been all of them. Maybe, the course should have been closed. It was VERY wet and I was afraid of leaving tire tracks from my cart. I love the course, I just think it is just a little too wet for even this time of year.

Course is Cart path and most holes have standing water in the fairways. Couldn’t finish 18 because of the water conditions. This course needs a couple of weeks of dry weather and then it will be good.

Great time
Check in was very easy pro shop guys were super helpful and very nice. Starter I no think is nice if you get to know him just seems a bit intimidating to talk to, even when we tried. Course was not bad even with all the rains. Bermuda is grainy but it’s Florida in the summer… cart girl was very nice overall great time.

Nice course but very wet at the moment
Very wet fairways due to the volume of rain. It does impact on many fairway shots. A couple of holes questionable if they should be open

Greens are Improving
Conditions are getting better than just two weeks ago. The area is starting to get rain on a regular basis and the green repairs on several greens are starting to take and are getting back into shape for the upcoming season. Looking forward to seeing them in the fall and winter months.

Course was just OK - over-priced for a summer afternoon based on conditions of greens

The Heights
Greens are very good, pace of play was great and the overall course was in really good shape. Would definitely recommend............

Grounds under repair
There are a lot of holes that they're working on. Some greens some fairways some tea boxes were being torn up and new sod being laid. A few greens add some bald spots on but overall it was an enjoyable place to play. The fairways are nice and love lush not love. You can enjoy your round if you look past the few things that are under repair.

Course is in nice shape. Few areas and green patches were under repair. Should be all smoothed out by the season when it opens up. Always a great day at the Heights.

Greens need a lot of work. Staff is working on improving the greens .

Ok for $20.00/9 holes
Played the C course I had no expectations for the course as I only paid 14.00 for a 9 hole round. With that being said I got what I paid for, course has a lot of criss cross with path directions to holes not clear. Hole #2 green was almost non existent a few tee boxes had more sand than grass very common to see other golfers picking up any ball they desired happened to me twice once in my fairway and once in another. Greens overall a 5/10 - fairways 6/10- t boxes 6-10

Pitiful and rude
Course was barely playable, first nine played in an hour and a half, made turn our next nine on course B had been stacked. We were directed by starter who should be fired immediately to course A right behind a five some, so rather than play a 3hour nine we left. Feel like my money was stolen. Never again. Please fire that rude worth less starter.

Nice
Great for a public course. City of Lakeland has continuously kept this course in good condition even with the volume of play!
Not good
Course conditions have gone downhill. Greens are awful. Driving range is dirt. Such a shame that this gem can’t be kept in consistently decent shape while others not in their league like Sanlan outshine them.

Gone down hill
Not in good shape right now. Sand craters on greens, bunkers not raked and quite a few full of water. Remember it being better. Worst greens in the county. Love the layout, hope it gets better.
