A8 green. They didn’t even mentioned they had punched the greens, much less this atrocity. Photo submitted by MichaelOBRIGHT on 06/11/2019

Under Construction!
There is a lot of work going on and so the holes you play are in a mixed up order. In spite of that it flows nicely and is an enjoyable course. The staff are very friendly.
Thanks for the feedback and good rating. We hope to see you back soon. Brock Witmyer (GM)
Lots of construction:
The course has a lot of construction on going and can get a bit confusing. The greens were in great shape and fast.
Thanks for the feedback and construction will be ending in another month. Thanks for the kind words and we look forward to seeing you back soon. Brock Witmyer (GM)
Course
Course was in somewhat good condition other than construction of new water system. Will go back enjoyed the day. Pace of play was slow behind 3 walkers.
Thanks for the feedback and understanding as the new irrigation system will enhance our facility so much. The course is in good shape as we hope to see you soon. Brock Witmyer (GM)
Thanks for the positive course rating and we hope to see you back soon. Brock Witmyer (GM)
Eeeeesh
construction of new water mains being laid out through out the course was a factor.here. Had I know that, I would have stayed away. The condition of the course was another story. Fairways were in bad shape. Greens horrible. Forget about the Tee boxes. The only good thing was that it was cheap.
Fred thanks for the feedback. Yes we are going thru a force main utility project and also an irrigation renovation. I am sorry that the timing was bad for you to have to experience these renovations. We hope to see you in the future and call me at 863-834-2379 before you come back. Brock Witmyer (GM)
Saturday outing
The people inside was so nice. The course was in very good shape. The greens were a little slow but they have to be this time of the year or you burn the greens up little grainy but fun. Great course and layout Can’t wait to see the rest of the courses first of the year. Great time was had by all
Vance, thanks so much for the positive feedback and glad you enjoyed your golf experience at CHGC. Hope to see you back soon. Brock Witmyer (GM)
Thanks for your feedback and hope to see you back after our force main project and our irrigation renovation. Brock Witmyer (GM)
Wet conditions
Course was very wet due to typical daily summer rain in Florida. However, sill playable.
Thanks for the positive feedback. We have received 40 inches of rain from May 1st thru the end of July. We are hoping that the weather pattern changes over the next 90 days. Brock Witmyer (GM)
It's a swamp
In my humble opinion, the course should have been closed. It was cart path only (obviously) but really was not playable. Walking from the cart path to the ball required walking through ankle deep water at times. I admire the course management for trying to accommodate the golfers, but frankly, it just didn't make much sense. Of course, if they had closed the course, some people would have slammed them for that, so I guess it was a "no win" situation. I am anxious to return when the course dries out.
Thanks for the feedback. You are correct that we are very wet, 10 inches of rain since July 1st. We give folks the option of playing and staying on the cart paths as they understand. It has been nice the past 2 days with no rain. Hope to see you back soon at CHGC. Brock Witmyer (GM)
Wet and poor conditions
The course got a lot of rain the day before didn't know till we got there and it was cart path only play c and b course it was very BAD, c was not even playable water and puddles everywhere, b was a little better but not much got no roll when hitting the fairway just lots of water and muddy conditions but even if it wasn't wet the greens were horrible dead and brown spots on all of them they keep it looking good for the snowbirds but for us they don't care if I had a free round wouldn't play it, I'm done with this course to many others that r better it's a shame
Thanks for the feedback. The 10 inches of rain we have got since July 1st has caused us some issues that we are addressing. We just started be able to mow areas that we could not get equipment to because it was getting stuck. Brock Witmyer (GM)
Still Great
Even though it is course maintenance time all is still good.
Recommend this for any player
Thanks for the positive feedback and we hope to see you back at CHGC soon. Brock Witmyer (GM)
mother nature still causing problems
Course us still wet from all of the summer rains. Mostly in the rough. Course still fun to play though.
Thanks for the positive feedback and you said it correct about all of the rain. Hope to see you back soon. Brock Witmyer (GM)
Mike, thanks for the positive feedback as we appreciate it. Hopefully we can dry out a little bit before your next visit. Brock Witmyer (GM)
course conditions should get better
The greens have been recently aerated so hard to putt. Half the holes are cart path only due to summer rains
Thanks for the feedback. Green aerifications are a maintenance practice that affects playability, but are much needed at least 3 times a year. We have been pretty wet since the middle of May. We hope to see you back soon at CHGC. Brock Witmyer (GM)
Thanks for the positive feedback and glad you enjoyed your golf experience at CHGC. We look forward to seeing you back soon at CHGC. Brock Witmyer (GM)
This was my second time play this course. While the starter did let me go out earlier this my scheduled tee time, I did have to ask him where the first tee box was(because I could remember.) A good starter would told me where both tee boxes were but when I made the turn I had to ask again.
Conditions this time were pretty bad due to a high amount of rain that we have had recently and there isn’t anything maintenance can do about that. But the greens on the “C” course were very bad. Dead spot on a good portion of many greens.
All in all, it’s an average course. It not a long course. I picked this course because it was cheap and close to where I live.
Thanks for the feedback Randy and we hope to see you back soon when things have dried out. Brock Witmyer (GM)
Thanks for the positive feedback and we are glad you had an excellent golf experience at CHGC. We are finally starting to dry out from the 18 inches of rain we got during the month of May. Brock Witmyer (GM)
Wet, wet and more wet
Played A and C course A looked better not as wet but the greens on both side not good to many bad spots and bumpy will get better once it dry out just not good condition with all the rain guess A drains better because C was really soaked to me almost not playable
Thanks for the feedback. It has been very wet as we got 12 inches of rain the week of May 14th thru the 19th. Tropical Storm Alberto rained on and off the whole Memorial Day weekend. You are correct A Course does drain better than the other two courses. Thanks Brock Witmyer (GM)
Great City Course
Greens are good, fast and true, plenty of hazards to keep your attention. Shot placement is a premium your driver can be your friend or your nightmare if you use it on the wrong hole
Mike, thanks for the positive feedback. We are glad that you enjoyed your golf experience at CHGC. Brock Witmyer (GM)
Thanks for the kind words. The 18 holes that we are playing right now during the construction is actually the original 18 holes. We hope to see you back soon. Brock Witmyer (GM)
