they are redoing the front greens and only had the back 8 to play ....yup i said the back 8.... they were also redoing the 17th green, but didn't say anything about it when booking the tee time.

Only nine holes open, front nine greens are being replaced.

Played in 3 hours. Except for few of the greens the course was in very good condition. No cart service however. Not many golfers out on this hot summer day. Ample water stations and restrooms. Bunkers and tee boxes well maintained. Do not need to hit driver but must stay in the fairway and on the correct side for the approach. Plays well for the short, straight hitters as this is a retirement community.

There are weeds on the green that don, t help your putting.Some tee boxes need work fairway, s are good. People working on the course very good at stopping to let you play

Schalamar golf course is always a given good time. Today, the fairways were like carpet and the greens were true. Staff are always friendly. Hole 13 is fun and it requires a precision iron shot. Love it!! You will have a great time here!! The driving range is over the water.

greens were not in good condition, bare patches and crab grass did not allow for a true roll. Interesting layout for a short course. Fairways were in good shape.

We have played here several times and it is always a great time. Course conditions are great. Some holes are very challenging, but if you place your shots you can score well. Once you play you will be back.

The course layout is great, but it was hot and dry. I have played the when it was in better shape and loved it.

For the average golfer this is the ideal course.....fairways are flat mostly and greens are fair...bunkers are clean and fair as well...enjoyed a fun round....shot 83......

First time at this course and glad I went. The pro shop guy at check in and starter (needed due to busy conditions) were both friendly. The scorecard shows lines to take on each hole with multiple distance markers on course. Not the longest course or shortest course but reasonable. Only 7 minute window between groups so pace was at a standstill at times. Will return.

Staff very helpful and friendly, carts in good condition and clean. Course a little short only 6000 off the tips but very narrow fairways and a fair amount of water make it very testing, greens a little bare and worn in places but overall a very enjoyable day out. The restaurant and bar were very busy and the food looked excellent .
We will go back!!

Too cool for golf but still good. Te sun made it fine evn if still wet from rain

Players in front of us were very slow and wish they let us went ahead of them. Pace were way too slow.

The course is good, not great. Last played 12/27/14 with some fairways muddy and the greens pathetic. The land is naturally low, with mud found even without recent rainstorms. The greens were more like semi greens with more patches of dormant or dead grass than green grass. Nice course but beware. Conditions can be unfriendly.

Good course well maintained staff was very friendly

This is a fun course a little tight in the fairways but if your straight of the tee shouldnt be a problem the price was great it got a little slow on the back but if you no the area and time of year that happens everywhere

Course in very good shape. Patches of weeds on some greens. Very rude five -some slowed things down.

This is the first time we have played the course and was pleasantly surprised at how well the course is maintained. Plenty of water holes! But that's the challenge of it. We both played the same ball all the way round which was a miracle! Would certainly recommend to anyone. The staff were extremely helpful which made our day.
