Huntington Hills Golf & Country Club

The course is great and the price is great compared to all the nearby courses which have skyrocketed their prices without any improvement in their course quality. The greens have been great every time we have played the past 5 times over a month or two. The clubhouse is nice and has a good turkey club and sweet tea if you need a bite to eat and drink. The cart person has come around two or three times for drinks almost every time we have played except when it’s lightning. There aren’t many water fountains on the course so bring some water if needed. They have a nice practice area if you need that as well with a range.

Need to carefully monitor and move along the novice groups on the course. I encountered a fivesome that would not allow me to play through even though I was playing alone.

Distances are not marked. Person in pro shop wasn’t sure.

The course continues to improve under new management. I’ve yet to run into the pace of play problems mentioned in some reviews. The course was wet from an overnight storm and some bunkers had standing water but overall the course still played well. The greens are in great shape, rolling fast and true. It’s arguably the best layout in Lakeland.

I got my 1st hole-in-one on the 6th hole today!

First time playing it and was pleasantly surprised at the condition of the course. Love the small rolling hills and the great greens!!

Love the coarse layout and it's all around in great condition

Its been about a year and a half since I last played The Hills. There have been a lot of good improvements, and you can tell management has made decisions to benefit members and the public. New Chip and Sand practice area. A new Member's putting green. And also, some needed tree removal helps everyone enjoy the course. The Pro Shop and Bar area is also being remodeled. I saw a great-looking burger being served and it looked very tempting, but I had lunch before I came to play. I was able to get a great Hot Deal, but now I feel a little bad about it...I should have paid full price to support the great direction the club is moving in. Keep up the great job so far and keep going for the future. I look forward to coming back soon.

Grabbed a hot deal, they were punching fairways, which is totally normal this time of year. Layout was fun, pace was good, it’s hot. Only lunatics and natives are playing in 100 degrees. Will go back.

Course was in really good shape. Greens were nice. The fairways on 16 and 18 were punched but other than that the conditions were real good. 2 of us played 18 in 2.5 hrs. Started at 330 and finished at 6!
