Needs TLC
I gave the course a 4 because I enjoyed playing it. However the tee boxes, fairways and greens need some attention. Several greens had more dirt than grass.
Disappointing greens. Lots of leaves on fairways and greens. Need to really work on improving course.

Pace 0f play much improved
Four hour round much appreciated. course is in much better shape and is a pleasure to play now.The only complaint now is the greens on the front nine. They still need some work to measure up.

no surprises
The course is in better shape than last year. The tee boxes need some TLC and leaves need to be removed from them on many holes. If these things were done it could be a very nice course.

Starter troubles
Arrived on time for a 12:22 start. Starter had let a large group of 12:30 starters ahead of us and two 12:16 starters.
Incoming weather cited as reason for the mixed up start. Our delayed start put us at risk.

Course in surprisingly good condition for the cost
Very nice layout. Greens and fairways were in as good a shape as courses i’ve played charging more than twice as much for green fees. The people working there could not have been nicer. I highly recommend this course.

All around average but
Playing Majestic for $50 or less is well worth it in season. Been playing it since December and good to see improvements being made.

Snowbirds
We enjoy the course and try to play every year when visiting Florida. The course was in nice shape, however the greens were not the best. They are trying to improve the greens, but the course gets a lot of play. The staff was very nice and friendly. We enjoyed the day.

Disappointed
Greens were in bad condition, many patches of dirt/sand, around greens also many bare patches making chipping especially difficult. I guess I shouldn't have been surprised paying $40.00+ for golf in SW Florida in height of season.

Much improved
I played here last year and gave a rather scathing review of the course.The greens while not great are much better this year. The fairways and tees were fine, The pace of play however needs to be improved. Hopefully the course is heading in the right direction.

Not so Majestic
The greens were in terrible condition, but perhaps this is due to the amount of play the course gets.
Four and a half hours for the front nine and it looked like the back was going to be slower so I left. The pro shop explained to me that a round after 11 a.m. in Fla takes five hours plus. This is sure to happen if mostly seniors plus are teeing off at 7 minute intervals.

Wouldnt recommend the course to anyone,greens are terrible
When our 4 some arrived there were no carts.Upon check in they disputed my golf now .com price and after a phone call realized i was right.We were scheduled to play 18 holes,barely got in nine before dark.Had to wait on every tee for approx. 20 minutes as some holes had 8 somes playing together.The greens were the worst I have ever played on,wouldnt recommend this course to anyone

For the$$ cost and the time of year Jan. this is an OK course. Staff need to look after convenience stations throughout the course. They are filthy
