Frenchman's Reserve Golf Course

I was lucky to play here thanks to a SFPGA outing. The course is a beautiful Arnold Palmer design with lots of trees and lush landscaping around it. From the moment you walk on to the practice facilities to the moment you step off the 18th green, you feel like you're at a high end place. The entire course is plush and pristine, and in imaculate condition from tee to green. The course plays tough, and although sometimes it seems visually welcoming, the tee shots and approach shots require precision. There are some holes that are very challenging. Holes 6 and 18 are tough, and can very easily ruin a good round. Some of the short holes seem easy, but if you don't hit good shots, they can also eat your lunch. The thing I found the toughest were the greens, which are very tricky to read and gauge the speed, I was not able to sink many putts and although they are large in size, they can also put you in three putt territory. Overall, I was very impressed, I'll gladly play here again if I ever get another chance.

Played as part of a reciprocal agreement. Course was challenging. Conditions were excellent. Workers were very courteous and helpful. Say hi to Jimmy the starter and wish him good luck with the Steelers.
