Crane Lakes Golf & Country Club

Play here often and the conditions are one of the best around. It is not as easy as it looks.

The Crane Lakes golf course always seems to be in excellent condition. This round was no exception. Play was fairly light, so we completed the round in under 3 1/2 hours.

Tees, fairways and greens were all in excellent shape. Even though there had been rain showers most afternoons for the past week, even the rough was neatly trimmed.

I've played this course perhaps a dozen times in the last four months, and the pro shop personnel and cart man have always been courteous and helpful.

Overall this was a very pleasant experience.

Par 66. Lots of big carries over water. Select you tees appropriately. Tees, fairways, and greens in good shape.

No wind, great greens, good pace = the best round ever.

Best Golf Course I have played as for greens. Water on most holes, but fair. A foursome had a dead cart on #2 and let our 3 some play thru. Never waited again.

Good course even though not long. Plenty of trouble but enough space to allow multiple clubs. The administration at the course could use upgrading. Check in is painful when you have to manually input every credit card.

Booked a tee time as a single, showed up early in hopes to be paired with a group that knew the course, the staff did pair me with a local resident group of seniors around 80 years old, which definitely helped although I didn’t get to warm up at all and played terribly. Would’ve like some lusher / greener fairways but they were adequate. Greens were as advertised, very good. No ball washers on course but clean bathrooms / plenty of water. The course / layout was unique in that it’s a rare par 66. I didn’t realize the blue tees were closer than the whites until a few holes, I’d probably opt for the whites next time, but either way I’d like my revenge on this course and would definately reccommend / play again. For a Saturday with beautiful conditions (75 degrees, partly sunny / light breeze), the pace of play was perfect, playerd in 3 hours 50 minutes. Plenty of homes / noise around the course including a nearby gun range takes away from the peaceful factor but the course was very well taken care of, very good sand in the traps and manicured areas between holes.

Really nice little course, a bit short but in excyshape, challenging, and picturesque. A bit out of the way but worth the 40 minute drive from Lake Mary

This course is not very long but almost every hole has water it is a very challenging course you will use every club in your bag this course is very well maintained

The greens are in great shape but slow. Needs fairway work. We enjoy playing this course

the course is short but not easy there is water on most holes so bring extra balls or buy them there prices are not extra high. the staff is always friendly. and course is in good shape.

Course is in good condition compared to other Daytona area courses I’ve played. Lots of water pays to know the course otherwise you might be fishing for your ball.

Great pace of play, fun course -The fairways are decent and the greens are very good. The wife says the women's tees play short and you can score plenty of par. Use some course management skills due to the water. Fast pace of play due to shorter play distances. The personnel are friendly and efficient. Funny side note. This course is in a gated community of manufactured homes. It is one of our Daytona area favorites.
