North at Daytona Beach Golf & Country Club

I get down to Daytona maybe 4 times a year. I’ve only had good things to say about this course until today. When I called for a tee time I definitely should have been warned that it was grandma championship day. 5 and a half hours of 70+ year old ladies hitting 40 yards at a time. And they won’t even consider letting you play through. Even if you say pretty please. Pro caveat emptor. Make sure you ask before you book here.

Thanks for being so nice and keeping the course in the best shape possible. Hopefully you could take over Indigo and do the same thing there.

Pace of play was painfully slow, especially on the back nine.

The restaurant was closed, with no indication when and if it was going to reopen - so no lunch!

Very good local course. Nice layout. A good go to place to play and reasonably price. Other places are overpriced.

Greens were in good shape. A little slow but not bad. Fairways looked like they were punched but not that great. Staff is excellent and very friendly and helpful. I would play there again and recommend to anyone else. I think the course will improve as I have played there before and has been in better shape. That's Florida for ya.

As good or better overall than some of other local tracks. Pace was slow I even had to help the group in front pull their stuck cart out greens and fairways are good not great

Beautiful day, plenty of wind to challenge each shot, nice layout, great friends to play with. Staff was friendly. Pace of play was pretty good.

The downside was that the fairways just weren't in very good condition. Yes, bermuda grass is only starting to come out of hibernation but that is no excuse for so many bare spots on the fairways. DB North is behind many of the other golf courses in the Daytona Beach area. They need to hire a good agronomist to give them some help.

A good place to play for a quick round. Maintain well. Must be one of the oldest golf course in Daytona. Price reasonable compared to other overpriced golf courses in the area.

Thanks for keeping the course in great shape. Greens are real nice. Sand traps are being updated and replaced with lots of sand. Fun time, thanks.

It was a very windy day which made it more challenging than normal but the course was in good condition. Greens were in great shape but very slow. Group in front of us seem to be really slow but we still finished in four hours and 20 minutes. Has some interesting short par fours that are severe dog legs left or right. There is some water that comes in the play on the course. A few holes with narrow fairways. A fair and moderately challenging course.

The course is a fun challenging layout. They always seem to keep the course in good condition. The greens were a little slower than normal, but we had a lot or rain the night before so maybe they couldn’t cut them. I recommend playing here.
