About
This Treasure Coast golfing jewel embraces the traditional values of golf course architecture emphasizing shot value, variety and dramatic effect. Meandering through an 800 home residential community, St James offers 4 sets of tees for individual playing ability and a challenging round for all levels. The 6700 yard, par 72 design features 64 dramatic bunkers and 17 water hazards. The club also offers a state-of-the-art practice facility, with natural grass tee, simulated fairway bunker and dedicated short game area with putting green.

Vast Improvement
We haven't played the course in some time, but the greens although still fast are in much better condition than they were on our last visit. They are actual some of the best and truest greens we've played all year. Portions of the fairways are in need of irrigation and attention but overall the course is in very good condition and has some very challenging holes. We'll be back.

Thé course
The fairway are hard so the ball roll a,lot to give you more,distance. The green are very fast

Long and challenging
Fun course with very challenging greens. Course plays long but is open and forgiving. Very fun!!

Slow Pace of Play - AGAIN
Most times we have played this course it is slower than other golf courses. We played in just over 4 1/2 hours. Waited on almost all tee boxes and fairways for the group of 4 men in front of us who had several holes in front cleared.
I mentioned to a starter/marshal twice, but nothing done. I also asked why he let a 4some of men who had the tee time following us out before us (I know for a fact they were to follow us as they checked in at same time of 1/2 hour early) and no answer on that. I guess he figured that with 2 women in our group we would be slower?
One time 3 years ago, we quit after over 5 hours and only 13 holes done. I should know better about the pace of play on this course.

Nice lay open fairways
Course played very well had a little rain at 11 but hung in and finished best round of year 72.

Good value for money
Pleasantly surprised at course after not having played it for several years. Starter made sure pace of play was good. Greens in good shape . Forgiving course even in the wind, managed to keep the same ball!

Tee box's and greens were in great shape. Everything in between was not. Some of the cleanest and nicest on course bathrooms around.

Wide fairways. Fast greens that were difficult to read. Course layout directions insufficient. Good value for money.. Friendly staff.
