About
This Treasure Coast golfing jewel embraces the traditional values of golf course architecture emphasizing shot value, variety and dramatic effect. Meandering through an 800 home residential community, St James offers 4 sets of tees for individual playing ability and a challenging round for all levels. The 6700 yard, par 72 design features 64 dramatic bunkers and 17 water hazards. The club also offers a state-of-the-art practice facility, with natural grass tee, simulated fairway bunker and dedicated short game area with putting green.

Fun challenging greens
The greens were nice and very fast. Overall course was in good shape. Pace of play was slow it was a 4.5 hour round.

Great layout
Can't say much about the golf course because covid19 social distance, other than that the course is in good playable condition

Decent for price
Played with 3 friends this morning (6/13/20) around 9:30. Pulling up you load your own bags to the carts then go inside and check in/pay. (Covid related). Paid around $30 on golfnow.
*no food/drink cart!
Staff extremely friendly, maybe the friendliest I’ve come across recently. Range was good with lots of flags. Big chilling green with dozens of range balls to use. And decent little putting area.
Course itself wasn’t bad. Some soggy areas from rains and some really really thick rough in some areas. The greens were sandy, but surprisingly decent speed and roll and majority of the holes. Other than that the fairway is firm and tight but played well and the blue tee boxes were decent. Short course! The tips were like 6600 yards. Some white tee boxes were a good 50-100 yards in front of the blue tees.
All in all good course. I won the round against my buddies so can’t complain too much.

Excellent day
Went out as a twosome single cart greens were in great shape pin placement was fair play about 3 times a week now that they r open price was average for this time of year Thur GolfNow. Shot 36 on front 39 on back was happy with course play and round..

First time on course .
First time I play this St.James Championship course , great staff . Course was in excellent condition, Greens were a little faster than expected but it was fun making the adjustments and having a great round with my son. I Would recommend this course to anyone who wants to play a good round of golf .

1st Time, but not the Last
Never played course before and was interested to see what it was all about. I arrived early and checked in. Corona virus issues were handled beautifully. Individual carts, no rakes, no one handled your equipment and signage about the process was evident at drop off area. Flags were in holes but they were filled with styrofoam so ball stayed near the top!
I was paired with 3 others and we had a great round even though we stayed socially distant. It’s a very different type of course, totally open, very wide fairways and a variety of terrain. Challenging but fun. I actually had one of my best back 9’s ever!! Unlike most courses, the trees and bushes are around the edges of the course, so there are very few places to hide from the sun! I will definitely play here again, but not In the brutally hot, sunny, humid Florida weather. Will definitely pick a time most likely in the fall or winter. Kudos to the starter and the cart guys, they were both exceptional and friendly!!

Beautiful course & love the challenge
We had an unfortunate situation with our tee time & would of had to pay full price if we still wanted to play. But the owner offered us to go out regardless at the agreed price we had with Golf Now. I have to say Golf Now was so apologetic for the miss hap & the course owner went over & beyond accommodating us. We are going back at the end of the week felt he deserved our business. The course was challenging but then that’s why i love the game. The staff couldn’t of been nicer. Most of all they are doing everything to keep here staff as well as the customers safe with the Covic19 virus. I highly recommend this course. Jersey Girl

Good links
This was my first time playing a links course. Very tight fairways, dry, lots of bounce and roll. Liked the different style of play and the windy conditions. I will play there again soon. Really nice staff too
