BlackHorse Golf Club - South Course

Played the South Course and had a blast, it was challenging for my game but I'd play every chance I could. The greens were in great shape and fast not too forgiving. I will definitely be back but do wish you offered those $40.00 afternoon specials a little more often.

One of my favorite courses in Houston area. Always in good shape. Great layout if holes and the greens are challenging but not too difficult to putt. Highly recommended.

This Course is the Best deal in Houston, If you get it for 55 to 65 $ on Golf Now.. Can't be beat for that price. Everything is in nice condition.... I wouldn't want to pay over 75 $ to play . but i've played this course about 10 times now, and it hasn't disappointed me yet.

The South Course is an amazing layout and very challenging.

The North Course is in really good shape and is more open but still a good layout.

This course has a few of the most picturesque holes I've ever played. The set-up is challenging from the tips, and pretty forgiving from the forward tees. No big surprises. Many holes are well bunkered, and rewards good shots. Plays long after a good rain, but then again so does every course.

First time travelling out to Black Horse and had a very enjoyable time. I highly recommend this course, the staff was very helpful and friendly while maintaining a professional atmosphere. the grounds were well kept and easy to navigate with the abundant signs. And the course was beautiful and amazingly designed. Would definitely play here again.

This is a challenging golf course for Houston, well designed and facilities properly maintained. Unlucky with rain and recently aerated greens.

The overall course was in great shape just a matter of the greens were were in good shape also

Greens are aerated and patheticaly slow, its sad that we were not informed about this at the time of booking or check in.

Great golf course. Secluded in the woods and navigated along Cypress Creek. Fantastic Fairways and greens.

The course is very challenging, the greens are in great condition. We had a great time playing and like to play here often.

Course had severe storm 2 days before. Only one hole cart path only but at least five holes with serious tree damage (trees laying in rough or hole 10 partial fairway). Despite this condition, course was in great shape and very challenging.

This course will torture you with woods and long irons all day unless you can kill the ball off the tee. I played from the black tees and it is long off the box! You better have a minimum of 260 carry in your bag! Greens had been aerated recently but roll true. Maybe at my age (55) it is time to move to the whites!! Great course!! Will be back!

It has easy hole, and very tough holes. Played after a week of aerated greens. Still rolled very true.

this is wonderful track with a very amenablel staff.
given the weather conditions in the past few weeks course was somewhat dry in several places.
once the greens have finished aerating they should be fine.

Greens were nice, but the fairway and green side bunkers were waaaaaay too heavy.

Great scenery, plenty of water, bunker and narrow fairways. I'm a 14 Handicap and even the white tees kicked butt! Great challenge will definitely try again.

Overall the golf outing was fine. What irked me was the starter jumping on us after 2 holes saying we were 10 minutes behind. If he were watching us on hole 1 he would have seen that we didn't get to tee off until 15 minutes past our tee time due to a slow playing group in front of us. We felt rushed and picked up our pace to an uncomfortable level only to immediately wait for the group in front of us.
